That's funny, I feel the same way about people who are convinced that the only thing that exists is the Earth and that the rest of it is bull [smurf]. How do you know that your belief isn't the big lie, kept simple and is being said over and over? What makes your belief more truth than ours?
I've spent many an hour listening to Jupiter with an AM radio I had built in my school's electronics class. It barely worked and had a massive problem with signal drift. I couldn't get it to narrow into a station properly...I'd get other stations drifting in. However since Jupiter wanders a bit...the radio was perfect for listening in.
No, I'm quite convinced there's a universe out there. How can I not be whenever I look up at the night sky? It's all the other speculative BS dreamed up by NASA that I bridle at.
