yes, it always puzzles me how islamaphobes refuse to recognize this. if its good for the goose its good for the gander. ithink it has a lot of racial undertones attached to it. the pilgrims and christians who came to america were extremely racist and as such are accused of abusing the biblical texts in order to fit their western agenda. we see it in their art where all of the prophets and Israelites are depicted as saxons. their faith is a tragic comedy.

A few centuries.....Uh that is pretty damn critical when the last century advanced societies worldwide so much. Islam is actually an Anti-Progress Religion and is preventing much of the ME from advancing beyond the dark age mentality.

Only one nation is led by an Imam (Iran). What about the Pope and the Catholic Church?

Any Muslim leader of a nation would be considered an Imam.

What the heck do YOU think that means?

    Islamophobia much?

Political aspects of Islam are derived from the Qur'an, the Sunna, and Muslim history. If you don't know this then that is not my problem.

The liberal knee jerk 'Islamophobia' is like all liberal name calling, used to shut down debate.

No, you're just not getting it.

"Imam" is one who leads prayer when two or more are present. Shiites have a different definition which includes infallibility, but the vast majority of Muslims (Sunni) don't accept that notion.

A Muslim who leads a nation would undoubtedly be considered an Imam regardless of how the government is organized. If the UK had a Muslim leader he would most likely be considered an Imam. And, there is no reason to believe that such a person would be trying to change the form of government.

You used the title of Imam to scare people about Muslim leaders - or, you just don't know what you're talking about.

I don't care which, but you need to fix that.

The Pope gathered together ll the christians during the formation of the Universal Church, and he used the off ice to claim power over all religious matters there after.
Revelation 9 identifies this leader s Abaddon, or Apollyn:

11 And they had a king over them, which is the angel of the bottomless pit, whose name in the Hebrew tongue is Abaddon, but in the Greek tongue hath his name Apollyon.

But in Rev 2:22 we see this church of that Age fall from grace, due to the violation of sexual misconduct behaviots.

You're exactly right. Anyone who doubts that White Americans have been among the most brutal, calloused humans in the world should familiarize themselves with the plight of the American Indians and the activities of the Ku Klux Klan.

The Indians were treated horribly, no doubt about it. The clueless ku klux klan was violent and abhorrent and they were not true Christians even though they may have claimed they were. The head was a thief and a drunkard and he went down for it. They eventually just disbanded themselves. However, they did not kill thousands over years like the jihad and you know it. Your deflections are worthless.

your pope gave the order to enslave 18 million so called Africans and it was your devout missionaries that carried this out for him. As a pagan Christian America has no moral high ground here

That certainly was the case centuries ago, along with with all those Christian monarchs and authorities who decided what was what.

So you think when Christ said, "I am the Truth," he was making up a myth?

You must be wrong because from the time of Noah, long long before the Exodus, people understood that murder was wrong and punishable.

Gen 9:6 Whoso sheddeth man's blood, by man shall his blood be shed: for in the image of God made he man.

    Oh yeah,...

Jesus reigned for 1000 years just as Rev 20:4 said would happen.

Then, the great seven headed beast rose up once the singular Catholic Church was confronted by Orthodox Greek Christians in 1054AD, and Renaissance appeared as old Roman and Greek culture returned to the West.
The 1000 years (from the appearance of the holy comforter until a second church was established) was also prophesied in Rev 20:1-3, too.

    Muslims say so.
And many researchers have tried to show this was true, too.

But Genetic Testing of Jewish priests alive today demonstrated they they all had one common father in 1360BC, which is the time of Exodus, saying that Aaron was that "common father."

The Catholic priests in the Ukraine helped Hitler against the Jews too.
They were as far off on the march as ISIS is today.

    It is no joke.
And it was prophesied to come as Mohammed arose as a false prophet who could not understand the Trinity the Christians were explaining.

Mohammed saw the incapacity of the Christians as a way to side with the Jews (whom they now hate because Jews rejected them).
What Mohammed did not get, was that man is able with Truth to image Reality as Lord. (Gen 1:26)

Nor did Mohammed understand that all men can become the sons-of-God, not just Christ.
They do this by seeing Truth and abiding their life and ways inside it.

There is little differences between Theocracies, whether they are Christian, Muslim, Jewish, or like all the nations under different Gods as described in the Old Testament

Theocracies are one of the seven possible kinds of Government and they enforce their Rules the same way a Democracy or a King, or an Emperor, etc might do.

If Jesus has already reigned for 1,000 years he sure did do a lousy job.

The 1000 years of Monasticism were great, until the wounded 7 headed beast returned in the Renaissance brought back the Roman and Greek Culture and the resurgence of sexual promiscuity returned.

A comment on studying the bible: Read up on 'chiasmic structure', learn that what was intended for priests to use as tools to impress people who were largely illiterate and uneducated, i.e. most people over most of history, is far different from the underlying duality of the writings; they were not simply fairy tales made up to amuse the masses, but rather complex narratives and philosophical treatises, all written for specfic purposes and specific topics, for those advanced enough in logic to follow them, and use them to build up a society and culture beyond the mindless paganism predominant up until then.

In other words, 'new athiest' idiots taking isolated quotes out of the text and making general judgements based on that aren't to be taken any more seriously than self-styled 'literalists' who claimed to know 'God's Word', while doing exactly the same thing, pulling imaginary 'meanings' out of texts they don't remotely understand. Only when one studies it seriously does one come appreciate just how detailed and sophisticated it is as an archive of collected wisdom and a teaching text for managing and providing structure for a much larger society and culture than the pagan cults ever could. It's an amazingly great work, built over centuries and centuries, and if one can't appreciate it for what it is then they're just ignorant, ridiculously so, atheist or believer.
