Consider yourself not any of these political labels (nor believe there is a political spectrum), because politics invented them to keep you were they want you, to keep you a voter to cast your vote on one of their parties or politicians, invented to one day have your power (have absolute power), 6 nov 2012 is such a day.

 

Congratulations Kane; on being a 24 year old white male; which automatically translates into ‘not” having two strikes against you before anyone on this planet has ever met you personally. The fact that you are Ultra Conservative means that you were not born Conservative, but rather it was a free-choice of your own making. I’m sure you have more to contribute to this world than what you do in a few seconds in a voting booth, as do many other 24 year olds.

Stick around, and observe, and you’ll learn something. I’m betting 24 years from now, if you’re blessed, you’ll learn that 24 isn’t a big number.

BTW, I’m a Newbie here also and I’m 50, and I’ve learned more politically in the last 3 years than I did in the previous 47.

God willing if I am to live to see another 24 years, I'll certianly know for sure 24 years isn't that old.

By the way it was solely a free choice that I went from left-leaning moderate to an ultra hard right conservative. After facing so much hostility, redicule and bigotry from the left it made me into a self claimed firebrand of all things anti-left. I hate them and if it were up to me the left wing will cease to exist.

I don't consider myself Republican because they're just as broken and incompetent as the Democrats. I'm neither an indepedent. In truth I don't know what I am... I just know I am off the normal political scale.

 

That's a losing attitude, as the dyed-in-the-wool leftists know instinctively how to use your hatred against you, and the few bright people on the left, and who might otherwise be swayed, cannot see you as credible.

Then you need to realize that hatred will only keep it alive.

I wish I could, in all honesty, welcome you to this place. But your OP is so full of self-congratulation, aggression, and hatred for people you have not even met, that I am having trouble taking you seriously.

As someone who is basically apolitical, and has no knowledge of, and even less interest in, US party politics, it is not your conservatism that troubles me. I would just really rather not encounter someone who generates so much ill will, and unattractive sentiment.

There are self-confessed conservatives on this board whom I respect greatly, and with whom I have interesting and productive discussions - but your OP, and subsequent posts, represent you as something else. I can only hope they are a somewhat hyperbolic misrepresentation.

If not, while I wish you every good fortune, I would really rather you went somewhere else to disseminate your unreasoned prejudices and ill will.

 

Hence the term "Ultra" which while I'm not really conservative in practice I am part of a fringe group, albiet a small one at that. As you are not part of the spectrum of American politics I could care less of your feelings on my sentiments.

I do not care if anyone here takes me seriously or not, it does not matter. I am here to voice my opinions whether you like it or not. Opinions which I feel that needs to be expressed. Some may listen, some may continue to ignore...at their own peril.

If I am to be arbitrarly censored out of contempt because I'm eccentric or that I lack any civility and have ambigious intentions then what does that make you? I have a right like anyone else here.

Well, you have joined an international discussion board, wherein you have espoused certain, ostensibly extreme, views, so one must assume that you wish your ideology to be known - why else would you bother joining a forum and posting those views?

I support your right to hold any sociological or political stance you wish, but I think Yguy is correct in advising you that your manner of imparting those views is less than persuasive. Even if I were completely supportive of your philosophies, I would be put off by being informed that my opinions are irrelevant simply because I am not an American.

Can you not see that, while it may give you personal satisfaction to insult people, it is ultimately counter productive? Similarly with saying that you do not care what anyone here thinks of your views, and you are here to voice your opinions whether people like them or not. In a sense that is stating the obvious, but in such a manner as to alienate the maximum number of readers.

So even many sensible, but nonetheless mega-conservative, readers will have some reservations about supporting you.

It was not my suggestion that you be arbitrarily censored - I do not support permanent banning for the even most egregious offences - but I gave the opinion, (one which you have done little to alter) that I would rather not have to read the extreme hatred you disseminate, and I might still suggest there are fora better suited to your brand of discussion.

If you display what may be seen as unreasoned prejudice, then you do have a certain responsibility to explain why. The alternative is to be simply regarded as an inconsequential nutter. What would be the point of that?

From your posts, extreme as they may be, I see an intelligent person who is putting his views in totally the wrong way. I am six years younger than you - so I should not have to explain this to you. But I do think you have something worthwhile to say, and I would like to hear your philosophies put in a more reasoned manner.

I'm not here to persuade anyone. Why waste my time and breath as you are wasting your time trying to convince me how wrong I am. I refuse to give my reason for my extreme prejudices because my merit has already expired so why waste the time?

It is what it is, what has been said and done has been said and done. No point in changing it now or ever.
