A new national anthem is metastasizing into the NFL. I hope that it hastens dissolution of the league's fan base to abolition of the league ASAP, and I welcome it. That said, I have never liked the Star Spangled Banner, myself, and have always felt it inappropriate for the majority of Americans to sing. Few people can remember all the words, and even if they can, only some professionals can actually sing it on key. What kind of national anthem is that? As alternative selections to solve the issue I personally have, my choices for that distinction of national pride and allegiance are a couple powerfully beautiful alternatives: My Country Tis of Thee America the Beautiful: To make another point -- that the national anthem should instill pride in singing, here below is a national anthem I greatly admire, played at a 2006 Olympics skiing medal ceremony: What's not to like? My choice: This Land is Your Land Woody Guthrie This land is your land, and this land is my land From the California, to the New York Island From the Redwood Forest, to the Gulf stream waters This land was made for you and me As I went walking that ribbon of highway I saw above me that endless skyway Saw below me the golden valley This land was made for you and me I roamed and rambled, and I've followed my footsteps To the sparkling sands of her diamond deserts All around me a voice was sounding This land was made for you and me When the sun come shining, then I was strolling And the wheat fields waving and the dust clouds rolling A voice was chanting as the fog was lifting This land was made for you and me This land is your land, and this land is my land… Notice it is a song of unity and inclusion

More racist anti patriotic moves. The NFL will destroy it self. This is allowing the racists Blacks and democrats to take over and destroy this country
I suggest "God Save the Queen". You have the same inequality as Mother England, its as if the revolution didn't happen. It would be the ultimate honesty.
