Really, people think Tom Brady dissed New England in Brady's retirement Instagram post?? It was New England who pushed Tom Brady out of New England after the 2019 season. It was Brady who wanted to finish his career in New England. For most of Brady's career, he was motivated by others disrespecting him. He was drafted in the much later rounds. New England disrespected him late in his career which motivated Brady to help Tampa win the Super Bowl after the 2020 season. In fact, if New England was still dissing Brady, Brady may still be quarterbacking in the NFL. What led to Brady's retirement, IMO, were the GOAT accolades everyone heaped upon him because that caused Brady to lose that competitive fire he needed because, let's face it, Brady wasn't the most physically gifted player. At any rate, thank you Tom Brady for the memories.
Can we just say that Tom's career has been pretty amazing? Is that enough? Have a great retirement from the game he loves so much. One hopes that we don't lose him from the public arena. Perhaps he can find a way to bring that ability to win to other pursuits.
Lol…tell it to the op who thinks Brady was triggered by being insulted by others. Way to diminish the guy’s legacy.
3 Traits that Made Brady a Winner: 1. He has a strong work ethic 2. He thinks strategically 3. He stays in the moment https://www.cnbc.com/2018/02/02/bil...atural-athlete-but-he-has-these-3-traits.html
Ignoring NE is bad taste all around. You HAVE TO respect Brady for his accomplishments because they’re undeniable, but that was truly a dick move. It would be like Montana ignoring SF because he played his last season with the Chiefs.
Brady became a free agent in 2019. Brady hated the cold in NE and wanted to move to a warmer state. So no, Brady was not pushed out of NE and he did not want to continue playing for the Patriots. He knew TB would let him call his own plays which NE would not. Brady was ready to move on and he did.
It's hard to deny his accomplishments, but we will always wonder how much less amazing he would have been without all the cheating. Is he great? Yes. How much did cheating help him? We'll never know.
My three best memories of Tom Brady: The Giants beat him in the Super Bowl The Giants beat him again in the Super Bowl Liberals call him a racist for winning a Super Bowl during black history month
No doubt Brady is the GOAT. But that deal with the devil is gonna come due. I mean, how else could some old dude who could barely even run win a superbowl?
He bad mouthed the Pats in his retirement feed on Instagram. Er, for example, Brady used a picture of himself as a Buc pointing at the Pats while the Bucs were playing the Pats in Boston this last season in his retirement Instagram feed.
there the right goes with the TDS attacks again, Trump was the one with TDS, that is why the disease is named after him
And?! Did you see Brady's farewell messages to the Pats fans when he left? Brady didn't retire from the Patriots organization.
TDS is a real thing, it’s been acknowledged by doctors, and the people suffering from it are those who irrationally hate Trump. It’s not an attack, it’s a genuinely real thing.
Maybe if you guys didn't mention Trump and every thread no matter how unrelated.... It could literally be a thread about cake recipes and baking cookies and you guys would bring him up
I don't care what he does or doesn't say about Patriots. I am just happy that he is gone. Got tired of watching Superbowls with Brady winning. Rodgers hopefully will be next. It's now time for the young guns to pick up the slack. I can see great rivalries forming in the future with Mahomes, Burrow and Allen. Great stuff. These playoffs so far have been amazing. Isn't it nice to see some underdogs winning? To me, it always gets boring when the same old, same old make it to the finals, like Bayern Munich in the German soccer league. They'd need to take a peek at the NFL and adopt their salary caps and draft pick policies.
