Their population growth is significant and has been over a decade, if their shift rights is so extreme why is the following not matching your assessment?

Over the past three election cycles:
    2020 46.5% (d) vs 52.1% (r) + 5.6 Republican
    2016 43.2% (d) vs 52.2% (r) + 9 Republican
    2012 41.4% (d) vs 57.2% (r) +15.8 Republican

easy, the shift to the right is recent. Notice how the percent that voted R barely budged. It was during that time period the shift began. Clinton won all border (with mexico) counties in 2016 and most weren't close. Two flipped to trump in 2020 and every single one saw significant movement towards trump.

We'll see what happens though. If Texas does flip to blue then dems will have total control and will be out of excuses so their policies had better start working if that happens.

Have you NOT seen what happened in the past two years? The biggest swing in hispanic preference in history. A MONUMENTAL SHIFT.

    Read the attached article.

California had a $97 billion dollar budget SURPLUS in 2021.
Texas had $24 billion dollar budget surplus in 2021.
Florida had a $20 billion dollar surplus in 2021.
Washington State had a $15 billion dollar budget surplus.
Oregon taxpayers got $1.8 billion in rebates because of a budget surplus.
New York City had a $2.5 billion dollar surplus in 2021 ...

Seems like most states had a good 2021 - not just the "red" ones.
But whatever ... play in your sandbox.

There is a monumental shift in Hispanic populations — except one — the youth vote, specifically those 30 and younger which are increasing their voting percentage year after year. 70% of them voted blue in 2020, many of them first time

    https://www.nbcnews.com/news/amp/ncna1246853

The 2020 election showcased the only way Republicans can win is if people don’t vote because they have two very locked demographics that vote very consistently — evangelicals and boomers / silent gen. These groups are seeing population declines.

Perhaps — the problem for Republicans is they don’t have the EC in states, they have to compete with the very dense blue cities that are only growing. Probably why some Republicans are trying to push states to move to an EC type system.

As to Democrats doing anything if they get complete control — that isn’t going to happen. Outside of more fundraisers of course.

Replying to all three of you. Just keep in mind that the progs barely have a majority right now with one Democrat Senator holding back an onslaught of moronic, Marxist policies that would once and for all destroy America. Just look at how bad things have gotten thus far with the prog monstrosity not even fully empowered. You guys want more of this? Haha, ****ing whyyyy? Its like you all want to be poor and unsafe just to satisfy some tribalist mindset.

Conveniently leaves out the fact that blue states have an absurd cost of living compared to red states. You get nothing for your money in blue areas.

Why is something like that funny to you? Is that how you think the country should move going forward? To where it essentially cost nearly a million to buy a descent home? I’d love to post what I really think about your cute remark, but it’s against the rules here.

Annnnnd where did you think that came from?
    Tax payers
Which is why tax payers and businesses owners are leaving California in droves.
And in the first time in history, California just lost a house seat due too population shift.

That means even with the birth rate and influx of illegals running to their sanctuary cities, more people are leaving, than being born and entering combined.

So you are enjoying the highest gas prices in history, highest inflation in decades, and a government attempting to mandate want you can and can't do.
    This is your Democrat utopia?

Where do you think the Texas surplus came from? Taxpayers.
Where do you think the Florida surplus came from? Taxpayers (and Disney).

So what's your point? All states tax their residents.

Didn't the Republicans just dictate what women can and can't do?
    Is that your Republican Utopia?

Nope, but leave it to the left not to know what they are talking about so all they can bring to the table are leftist exaggerations.
    As per usual

Oooooohhhhh, I get it. So if they all have surpluses, they are all equal.
    So in that case
California doesn't have the highest gas prices in the country
California doesn't have the highest tax rate in the country
California doesn't have the highest housing cost in the country
California doesn't have the highest homeless population in the country

And just like that you solved decades worth of problems
    Wow, Your amazing
But you can't figure out the difference between 100 billion surplus and 20 billion?

Hence why liberal utopia, is liberal utopia.

California has the largest economy in the country, and the 8th largest in the world ... you really think the numbers wouldn't reflect that?
    C'mon, you're smarter than that.

The only way California can lower its unemployment rate is by people leaving. If they come to Texas we'll make sure they vote right or keep them from voting altogether.

Wow, That sounds just wonderful. Problem solved.
Now if you can just convince the California tax payers and business owners who are leaving by the millions how good they got it, you could run for Governor.
With so many fleeing, the population of the state is now down to 2016 numbers and for the first time in history California just lost a seat in congress.

So what is it the millions who are fleeing know that you don't?
I guess the whole (Hey, we're the 8th largest economy) isn't working for them.
Must be something else. What possibly could that be?

At this rate, California will lose one seat per year along with its electoral vote.
And as your economy starts to collapse from the liberal celebrations of your tax payers leaving,
you will need even more taxes to sustain your sanctuary city lifestyles

I must be wonderful to smell feces and urine in the city. lol

Most of the issues we are having can be explained looking at macro events such as fuel costs and inflation. Fuel is one of the big ones and can be explained in one pretty simple graph (see if you can figure out what the lines represent without me telling you)
    upload_2022-7-8_7-33-21.jpeg

I am no economist but even I was calling for a recession to hit due to massive QE spikes in 2018 and 2019 followed by massive influxes of cash injections in 2019-2021. The fed is about to pump the breaks hard so the recession and inflation will end hopefully by the end of this year.

“Progs” do not hold a majority, even a slight one — they do not even make up the majority of the Democratic Party. Nothing can be passed without bipartisan votes so it is intellectually dishonest to act like anything is being done because of progressives.

I will take this over what Republicans want to do to this nation every day of the week. Y’all cheered when your team leader was trying to orchestrate a way to steal an election and then accused Democrats of doing it against all evidence. Y’all openly supported policies to injure groups you don’t like. All values have been sold in the name of seizing control of the courts.

I hope the current Republican Party as a viable political entity ceases to exist in the near future and the youth vote looks like they will make that happen.
