Not new research. It’s actually 14 years old and an animal trial. There is another study with 111 participants from 2017— https://pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/29163162/ — with human participants. The results are quite limited due to small sample size and study was only 12 weeks in duration. There is a phase 2 trial that wrapped up in December of 2021 so research should be published within the next year. So, really nothing yet to suggest any good effects for Alzheimer’s.
