Not smart because BRICS is turning from an economic block into a military block? These countries are dangerous to the world, and it's their aggression that needs to be blunted. If they can't get what they want, why, they might turn against themselves and end up stabbing each other in the backs with daggers.
@wgabrie Just like & The West - equating military and economic alliances but, & The West had a 70 year head start and is currently more active in ostracizing too many from economic cooperation. eh
What happened to you that you are talking like that? Did you own any Russian bonds that have been defaulted on? The West might have an economic and military alliance head-start, but there are legitimate reasons of historic cooperation and defense. Russia and China are both aggressors and both want to expand their borders with specific targets in mind. Russia wanted to join NATO, or was that so long ago that it was the Soviet Union? Anyway, I'm glad they were denied entry because they would just use their membership to get secret data on the West and then backstab us.
