Now we have proof no one likes Trump enough to tell him he had toilet paper on his shoe. He's fired most of his staff that had any spine. How close has he come to firing the rest? There's a reason why Trump has failed to hire "the best people": The best people don't want to work for him. If he was respected and a good leader, someone would have immediately told him or even corrected it for him. Obviously he wasn't using the toilet in the car, so he probably boarded the limo with it on his shoes and still didn't notice:

There are ways to tell whether or not a leader is respected or disrespected. The many military members had no respect for the Draft-Dodger and Liar-in-Chief. Now do you see the connection? When I said "the Draft-Dodger and Liar-in-Chief", could you easily tell who I was talking about?

If you are an exceptional leader, you hire exceptional people. In fact, the best leaders hire people better than themselves.

I think, in the case of Trump, his use of the term 'best people' was an extension of his use of superlative language. He uses it in every speech he gives. But we also need to understand what he considered to be 'the best'. Best at what? Best by whose standards?
