The plan also details how Republicans will approach crime, supporting 200,000 more police officers through recruiting bonuses, opposing efforts to defund police, cracking down on prosecutors and district attorneys who refuse to prosecute crimes “while permanently criminalizing all forms of illicit fentanyl.”

“Republicans are the law and order party. Especially Donald Trump’s Republican party is a law and order party, and Democrats are a soft-on-crime anti-police party. It’s never been more clear than today,” Banks, chairman of the Republican Study Committee, said.

I love the new direction of the GOP. We are now a theistic friendly multiracial working and middle class coalition with Main Street family businesses and family farms and bu coastal secular progressive urban elites hate us. The party of law and order can't seem to hold their most popular figurehead to any kind of law and order. Rules for thee and not for me as a central platform. But why not? Both the politicians and the voters of that party agree with making those exceptions. McCarthy sounds like Trump telling everyone for years about his "in 2 weeks" Healthcare plan will be unveiled.

"House Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy has a plan to make heroin and cocaine more pure so that your children can confidently make a purchase without anxieties over a possible fentanyl overdose. "We will secure the borders so your kids won't have to fear, wondering that they're buying fentanyl [a synthetic opioid covertly added to heroin and cocaine] and are going to OD," he said on Fox (first video below). Very thoughtful, indeed.

But too bad his plan is a faulty one, as his henchmen will be going after the wrong border crowd. According to CNN (second video below), "The majority of these [fentanyl] seizures happen at the legal ports of entry, where cars and buses and trucks line up to enter. And the vast majority of time, it is being brought in by U.S. citizens or legal residents."

In Trump's first run (well, second . . . Trump prefers we ignore his actual first presidential run), there was no update to the GOP platform except to go easier on Putin over invading Ukraine. In his second run, there was no update to the GOP platform at all . . . the only thing there was to declare allegiance to Trump. So, after almost a decade, if the GOP FINALLY has a platform other than licking Trump and Putin's boot leather, I'll welcome it.

Trump wanted secure borders, jobs in America, lower taxes, a good economy, being tough on crime, pro Bill of Rights, and putting America first and the left opposed every bit of it.

Today's republicans want secure borders, more police and reduced crime, parental rights, women's rights, and improve the economy and the left is opposed to every bit of it.

Why don't you or one of the other libs on this board tell us what democrats are running on for the upcoming election. Since you've twice opposed all the above, then I can only assume you want open borders, higher taxes, crime up the ass, attack the Bill of Rights, ruin the economy, and screw the parents along with their daughters.

Fentanyl is killing kids by mistake, the kids aren't even using it, they're simply near it and got themselves contaminated by it. Tennessee warned people NOT to pick up $100 bills on the street because trace amounts of fentanyl could be on it and kill you.

Anyway, your story is a complete and total lie and you believed every word of it. Not only that, you promoted that lie twice. So much for your credibility Mr Meme.
