He didn't lie, he told the truth and the proof he did is Tramp immediately lied about it!

 

Well that's a big fat Tramp lie! He didn't read Tramp's phone conversation, he paraphrased it and clearly said he was paraphrasing it before he gave his perfectly beautiful paraphrase.

Schiff was a total lie

 

He knew exactly what he was doing. It was a lie to appeal to low info listeners, most of his base. It was no different than what Orson Wells did when he read the "War of the Worlds." over the radio. People freaked out. Wells got in trouble. People will believe any crap that sounds half way official. He needs to be sanctioned.

And this is why Schiff is known as Schiff for Brains. Not only did he damage his own credibility in front of the entire country, he proved just how weak and desperate the Dims' case for impeachment is in front of the entire country. The simple fact of the matter is this: if the content of the phone call was so damning, Schiff wouldn't have had to make Schiff up. Instead, Schiff had to make Schiff up to make it appear damning. Everyone outside the "progressive" echo chamber gets that - whether or not you and your comrades do is unimportant.

It's amusing to see Tinfoil Tribunal 2.0 off to such a bumbling, clueless and inauspicious start...

 

The LIE was Tramp saying Schiff "was supposedly reading the exact transcribed version of the call" when Schiff CLEARLY said it was NOT an exact transcript but he was PARAPHRASING it. Tramp doesn't understand the simplest English.

No, it does not bother me at all. Schitt held up a paper or papers that appeared to be a copy of the transcript, THE DOCUMENT EVEYONE ELSE IN THE HEARING ROOM WAS READING and what most TV listeners had learned had been released.

You are assuming that the general public are all highly educated elitists. They are not. The average person used to get most of their news from the TV. At the time, that mode was thought to be an abridged version of real news. If one wanted to learn the actual news, it was necessary to read the full newspaper article. Now the average person gets most of their news from social media and other second hand sources they believe. As incredible as it seems, many people do believe that what is said on "The View" TV is hard news.

Had Adam Schiff read what he did on SNL, his deadpan and gravely serious demeanor while reading would have actually been quite funny. I thought what he wrote was quite clever as a parody. The setting where he performed his stunt however was highly inappropriate. It is not what is said that counts, it's the delivery.

His delivery was deliberate and meant to be an insult to those who understood it was a fake reading. That in itself would be enough for dozens of House radicals to call for the ouster of any of their republican opponents.

Some radicals reject this document and now refer to it as a memo rather than a transcript as it is not a verbatim recording. It is however THE standard transcription practice used by WH presidents past and present. It is a valid legal document as accurate as any transcription from a court reporter. It is admissible as evidence in every court in the USA.

The fact that Schiff had to open with a "parody" instead of being straight forward and presenting his so called evidence was very telling.
