    Dear gun control proponents:

You always say you want a national discussion on guns. Great, lets do it.

    But lets do it honestly.

Stop claiming you don't want to take away all of our guns. Many of you have already admitted you do want to take away all our guns.

Stop claiming you only care about reducing crime, improving public safety, and that's its just "for the children". The data shows gun control does not make a safer society.

Stop claiming you just want "common sense gun safety laws" to stop mass killings. None of your "common sense" proposals would stop mass shootings.

Drop the BS. Be honest. Gun banners, you want to ban all firearms not owned by the government.

What you really want to do is repeal the 2nd Amendment. So lets have the real discussion.

I'll start. An armed population is safer and more secure from criminals, invasion, and its own government.

"The laws that forbid the carrying of arms are laws of such a nature. They disarm only those who are neither inclined nor determined to commit crimes.... Such laws make things worse for the assaulted and better for the assailants; they serve rather to encourage than to prevent homicides, for an unarmed man may be attacked with greater confidence than an armed man." - Thomas Jefferson, Commonplace Book (quoting 18th century criminologist Cesare Beccaria), 1774-1776

"To disarm the people...s the most effectual way to enslave them."- George Mason, referencing advice given to the British Parliament by Pennsylvania governor Sir William Keith, The Debates in the Several State Conventions on the Adooption of the Federal Constitution, June 14, 1788

Gun banners, what have you got to say? Whats your argument for convincing America to repeal the 2nd Amendment?
