The state can force women to submit to a blood test against their will so why not a non-invasive ultra-sound?

That seems reasonable to me.

Abortion is legal, so why women get one is really none of his concern. How does he know why someone gets one? Do they all let him know?

If it isn't for health of the mother, rape or incest, why else do you get an abortion? Your life style of having sex leads to the posibility of a baby. If you are pregnant, then you are inconvenienced and your life style is interupted.

Do you think bungie cords should be paid for by insurance? What about making everyones' insurance the same to cover the bungie jumpers needs after the cord snaps and the guy is paralyzed. Does that seem fair? Maybe he should get his sergeries paid for by the tax payers till he can walk again, I mean thrill seaking bungie jumping is a "natural urge", just like sex.

To keep the tax payer from paying for even more welfare.

By the way your list of caveats just proved the Republican lawmaker in question wrong.

And the enabling continues. Fine, you lefties just hate poor people, I get it. It comes from the founder of PP, Margret Sanger.

How so? It is their life style, and being pregnant will impeed their life style, or make it inconvenient.

So what? It's also a legal thing. So the reasons are not really his concern.

Not really. But given it is legal it's not his concern why someone does it. If you are arguing it should be illegal that is another thread.

Lots of things are legal and wrong. And tons are illegal, but totally fine by me. But the fact is, a woman can get an abortion. So she does not to explain to some bureaucrat why she is doing it.

Ok, so you were in favor of slavery, Jim Crowe, Nazi detention of anyone NOT of ayrian decent, China killing millions of people, N Korea's detention centers, Syrian's mass murdering their citizens, and many other "legal" actions?

Why can't it be his concern? Can men not be concerned about babies concieved by a choice of actions? There is no reasonable expectations for women to believe just taking contraception will prevent all concievments.

No one is asking her to explain, it is an opinion that this politician expressed. He is allowed to have this opinion, whether you like it or not. And you really can't agrue against his opinion, that is why you are trying to dismiss it.

usually≠100% of the time

If you think a woman having an abortion after a vicious gang rape is the same as "China killing millions of people" go ahead and make your case. It's a free country. What I can guarantee you is the vast majority of Americans will not agree with you.

I agree. I never said he could not have an opinion. Really. Check the thread. He can like it or not. I don't care.

I have never heard it put this way but I think you are on to something here. Birth control should be paid for by the woman. This should be optional as all women do not need or have sex. Should condoms be free because men wear them…should it be covered under his medical insurance? NO
No more than plastic surgery should be covered…unless an accident caused it.

Women get abortions for all sorts of reasons…and unless they want a late term abortion, the excuses don't matter. Abortion for some is birth control. Guttmacher says that the majority of women get multiple abortions. So what does that tell you? It is a safety net for women…to eliminate the problem they have, in this case getting rid of their child. It is a legal way to kill the living human being growing in their bodies.

To have sex is to take the risk…just like Bungie jumping which I guess like you said could be a thrill just like sex is….in that case I am gonna try it. LOL

Really? I said I support a gang rape baby? Wait, lets go back in time to my first post...
Ooops, I think I caught you in a lie. I was very clear that I wasn't talking about rape, or even gang rape, as the same as life style choice. Get off your straw men.

As for Americans agreeing, since I was talking about actions volutarily made which lead to conception, they do agree with me that abortions, or killing babies is wrong just for the sake of keeping your childless life style.

They arent forced to do anything. Quit crying. No one is forcing anyone to have an abortion. Obama may want to force them later though...

Women arent forced to undertake a vaginal exam, Its prolly a good idea though.

Conservative women think all women who want to have an abortion, should see the baby before they kill it.

The Republican Lawmaker is correct in his description. Women kill babies to avoid the personal responsibility for the life they created.

This is, in my humble opinion, why I beleive Conservatives are loosing touch with the real world.

Back in October of 2010, the GOP told the American People they were the ones for Jobs. Since then ... they have done everything but ...

Back to the subject; this exam has NO Medical bases.

What exactly are you looking for at that stage? Because it's obviously NOT a Baby.
