This year, our fear is that people are not going to be polled that are Trump supporters because all that Biden has said, and all the apparent attacks, and people coming after them and they're just hesitant even to participate. I think everybody will underestimate them, including us. Republican turnout will exceed even what we predict.

ith woke cancel culture prevalent and now Bidens objectifying of MAGA supporters it’s no surprise that the shy Republican is a factor in polling. Even so several polls show leans to the GOP on generic polling as well as on the key issues. November 8 is looking better by the day.

The GOP and MAGA base will be motivated to vote en masse.

Republican turnout does not matter. The only thing that swings elections these days is the Independent or the woman's vote.

The Woman's vote made Obama the winner.
The woman's vote turned the tide in the last Kansas vote on abortion.

The economy in general, inflation, the border, and crime all Trump abortion and we are winning on all four of those issues.

The only way the Republicans are winning on the economy is if you believe the president controls inflation. Sure, there are dolts like that out there, and the case can be made that Biden's energy policies have contributed to it to some degree, but we would be having this inflation even if Trump had won a 2nd term. The Republicans don't have the answers for it, they are just using it as an issue because they're out of power, just like the Democrats would if the tables were turned.

I'll agree on the border being an issue in the Republicans corner, although they're rarely done much about it except let Trump try to build his monument...errr, I mean...his wall.

And as far as crime goes, other than some of the big cities where progressive politics are more popular, there's not much difference between Republicans and Democrats on crime. "Defund the Police" has been pretty much rejected, even in the city where it started.

Lol…let’s hope a lot of repubs turn out to reject the qanon extremists who have trump’s blessing.
Most repubs I talk to are embarrassed by trump and his qanon pandering and his multiple criminal problems.

Sorry but I don't think MAGA is its own base. The democrats are trying to use their mind voodoo to make us think MAGA is some extreme branch of the GOP. It simply does not exist. MAGA is just an election campaign phrase.

Republican or Democrat, of course turnout matters.

That's not to say that in a certain election that one group or another doesnt end up with a legitimate claim to making the difference, but the bottom line is that of course turnout matters. For example, you say that women got Obama elected, but one could just as accurately point to the record black voter turnout in 2008 and conclude that it is what won the election for Obama. Both surely played a part.

    Turnout always matters.

I don't agree with @Daniel Light often but I really think this R V W thing is going to screw up female turnout for the right, which sort of validates his statement. Still, the more poeple that vote the better so dont' let that discourage you. We still might have a chance.. Definitely a better chance than if we did NOT vote

In PA, I will be voting all Republicans except Governor. Not that I like Dr Oz, but I can't vote for Fetterman
