Republicans and pollution

    So I take it you believe the regulations are too lax. And what has happened here in the US is the environment is less polluted than it was 40 years ago. I don't consider CO2 a pollutant.

    That as my be. But there is still more that could be done as other countries have shown the way on reducing exhaust gas pollution from things like diesel engines for one. Or coal fired power station flue gases for two. I note today that Dick Cheney managed to use his political position to get diesel fuel, one of the worst ground pollutants, to be used by Halliburton as a Fracking Fluid. That is purposeful use of direct pollution in the interests of an Oil Field Service company's profits. Halliburton, I read, have been caught at polluting the ground to 'Frack'.
