And Repubs want Dems to bail you guys out? And the guy Repubs nominate for prez has four indictments, 91 felony counts, and his latest venture, Truth Social, can't turn a profit, it's failing miserably. Trump Media is hemorrhaging money, despite it's $5 billion valuation. That can't last very long. Remember Parler? Another RW failure. But this one faces steeper odds, with less public GOP support, at the moment.
C'mon buddy. This is not a new thing. Republicans have been unable to govern for most of a generation. Ever since that Black guy moved into their White House. since 2009 has the GOP passed any significant legislation... AT ALL? Every step of the way the Democrats have had to save the GOP from their legislative constipation. Borders, taxes, environment, healthcare, it's all been DEMS. So, of what actual use is the GOP?
The Republicans in the House are way too busy fighting among themselves than to take time out from their internal squabbles to govern. Which is why I think the democrats will regain control of the house this November.
If Republicans hope to be rid of the ETTD disease before 2028, they will have to start soon. They will have to, not only reject Trump, but do it in a credible way. It is most credible if they do it before November. Somewhat credible if they do it before the 2026 midterms. But not very credible after that. Those who do it early, might have some success in 2026 and 2028.
