    My take.
If the Republicans don't get on board and participate in Biden's plan they stand to lose 2022.
If you look the vaccine should begin to show a big change around mid year.
If Biden pushes thru his stimulus without the Pubs, the economy may well whiplash back by year end and Biden will be the hero.
The Pubs should get on board, get some small concessions and declare they were part of the solution.

    Whatca think?

Things will only get worse for America and Americans. If anyone believes mask and lockdowns are going away, you're not to be taken seriously. If the virus fizzles out, they will use climate change as an excuse to continue lockdowns and shutdowns.

I think they're smart enough to know this, but their hatred for Democrats will cloud their wisdom.

that depends. What's in the bill? does it all go to help citizens or are they wasting a bunch of it on stuff like gender studies?

One party proposes and the other party opposes. What's new. It's not about the country it's about their power. I can only imagine a Congress with all independent members and not a single dem or repub. No leaders and no clubs to join. And above all, term limits -- one term, no pension, go home and get a job.

As usual, the GOP will go back to be deficit hawks, as soon as a Dem is back in the WH. They'll do anything to harm the recovery under Biden, so they can regain control of the House and the Senate in 2022.

Yeah. I really don't care if they get on board or not cause it's gonna pass without them.
But I see a House race, for example, in 2022 where the Dem candidate asks that age old question; are you better off today than you were in 2020 and then points out that their Republican opponent voted against the recovery act.

And then the Republicans will shout from the rooftops that the stimulus bill was socialism that our grandchildren will have to pay for. Never mind that they didn't care about any of those things when they pushed through the Trump tax cut and the stimulus.

Stop throwing money at "People and Unemployment" and it will go away quicker then Trumps reelection chances.. Hell I hardly even hear about the Chiner Flu anymore and very few around here wear a mask and no one is dying. It's like a miracle, soon as Trump lost the virus news went pretty much silent..

Now that the election is over and the goal of the looting and burning has been accomplished, the "defund the police" Democrat leaders in Minneapolis have opened up their budget to hire dozens of new cops. This is why I don't believe a thing Democratic leaders say. All they care about is their own power. Their lies and transparent gaslighting is obvious to anybody paying attention.

The stimulus that the Democrats pass will be specifically aimed at increasing the profits of globalist elites and spreading their propaganda.

    Yep.
The day Pence confirmed his election the cases started to fall and the day he took office the deaths started to fall.

They'll do what they did to Obama. He inherited Bush's mess, Old Joe inherited Trump's. That will not stop Repubs from blaming the national debt/budget deficit on Dems.

    Yep.
Just like we kept telling Trump.
Get rid of the virus and the economy will take care of itself.
But no, he tried to do it the other way around.
Amazing how easy it has turned out to be. :)

Well, he hasn't brought the economy back yet.
I think that will take about 7 months.
Maybe then the peace prize for economics.

Covid was a gift to Trump, and he blew it.

The moment Covid became a global pandemic, I told my Wife this pandemic will guarantee Trump a second term if he can resist temptation of acting like his dumb ass self and pretend that he somewhat cares about American's, he would win in a landslide.

Instead, Trump couldn't resist being his awful self and the rest is history.

Your dreaming there is little to nothing in the Biden plan that will help your average American more than temporarily. It's bail outs for blue cities that are destroying themselves money for teachers unions that haven't yet spent most of the money Trump gave them. The same teachers that don't want to go back to their inner city jobs not because of covid but because it's a damn dangerous and increasingly disease ridden place. In most cases they're likely getting a better education at home. Lord knows most of what they get in the public schools today is little more than classes in transferring blame.

Will there be alot of pork and b's? Im allergic to b's.

Also the midterms will be based off many things and Trump won't be a factor in any so no more TDS hate rage.

Biden's first 2 years and how well he did.
The policies Biden and Kamala enacted.
Biden's health and his foreign policy.
How the Republicans act for 2 years.
How the Democrats act for 2 years.
    Covid 19 and continued shutdowns.
Also getting people out to vote.

If looking at the political picture the 2020 census favored Republicans giving us several house seats and almost 10 electorial votes.

Historically speaking the midterms favor the party not in controll.

The Republicans only need to take a few house seats to get back majority. The Democrats hold a tiny lead. The Senate will be more of a 50/50 with the Democrats holding a GA seat for 6 years to help them out. If Republicans had both GA seats I would say Republicans would have kept the Senate.

Lindsey Graham said if they get the house Kamal. could be impeached. Sounds like both parties are against unity.

My final thoughts. Why should I support this 1.9 trillion package when Trump already offered one that failed because of lack of support. How is this one any better?

    Certainly any democrats would lose.

Pulmonary viruses always slow down around mid year. They come back in winter.

The economy doesn't advance nor retract because of politicians' attempts to buy votes. The bill will have no effect on the economy.

I guess those who support limitless government spending should do that.

it doesn't matter what I think. The politicians will spend as they always do. They pay no attention to me whatsoever.
