If the proof is so crushing, why can't you defend your theories, much less actually show a real piece of evidence? You DO realize what it does to your credibility when you make claims and then run away with your tail between your legs, right? Like spamming sites because you know you can't respond... that is real chicken(*)(*)(*)(*) tactics.

You believing speculation is indeed fact explains a lot. The problem is speculation is NOT fact. COULD it be fact? Yes. But it is just a guess, not the truth. When truthers pretend their speculation is indeed fact as though there is evidence to back up the speculation, that is where they fall flat on their faces and lose all credibility. Well, that and the blatant lying, pretending opinion is fact and the complete denial of the vast majority of evidence. ;-)

I speculate that you are a Chinese agent, therefore it is a fact.

    I can't be wrong can I?

I don't know.. Maybe the same reason why does the 9/11 commission report and president Obama and president Bush Jr. and pretty much all politicians do that? Unfortunatly I can't prove what the reason actually is though. In fact most people do that. I believe the vast majority of all thinking people do this. Confirmation bias is a disease that everyone seams to have. It's hard to suppress.

It could be a total pile of compost, like Jones' thermite chips. To me, they looked like paint chips from the moment I saw them. It was pure speculation that they might have been an instrument of sabotage.

Of course, "looks like" does not always mean "is," especially when one is examining something outside of one's own area of expertise.

I was a part of the JREF discussion started by Oystein and joined by Ivan Kmenik and Chris Mohr which led to the Millette paper debunking Jones and Harrit. It was, in fact, I who first raised the question as to whether the columns (which were painted in Tnemec primer, which is identical to Jones' "non-thermitic" chip) and the floor trusses were manufactured by the same company, thus also painted with the same primer. It turns out that they were not, and that NIST mentioned that fact and indentified a different primer called La Clede Red Primer. I pointed out that, due to the manner in which the towers collapsed, the trusses would have been subjected to more of the kinds of forces that would strip paint off and would thus contribute the greatest part of the paint chips found in the dust. After we all agreed on this point, Chris engaged Millette to test the chips in dust to which he had access.

    Whadda you know! They matched.

That they didn't show the same characteristics when heated to a high enough heat to burn off the resin as those that Harrit tested does not prove that they were not the same material. Harrit ignited his chip in an oxygen-rich atmosphere. Millette did not.

The resin in Harrit's chip caught fire like ordinary paint, producing enough heat to reduce iron oxide to a lower oxygen level.

Millette's chip did not catch fire at a higher temperature.

Thermite needs no oxygen in the atmosphere to burn. Fact is, it doesn't even need an atmosphere.

Milette stamps "FAIL" across the Harrit paper in big block letters you can read from twenty feet away.

What proof do you have that you aren't a Chinese agent bent on sowing discord in a political forum? I believe it to be so, therefore my opinion on the subject is valid.

What proof do you have that you are a paid representative of disinformation? I definitely believe so, and therefore it's "official".

    Excuse me...my error.

I meant proof that you are NOT. Good job.

    *looks at bank deposits

I don't see any deposits from the Government. In fact, they have a habit of taking money from me.

Can you say the same thing comrade? Do you get paid in dollars or rmb?

You post 'em and I'll look at them. Thanks ahead of time for providing the "proof" that supports your position.
