A subsequent IG report revealed something else.

If you maintain he is lying, you've got to prove he KNEW that what he was saying was false AT THE TIME HE SAID IT - not that a subsequent report revealed something else.

If he didn't know it at the time, it isn't a lie. It is inaccurate, but not a lie.

That is the thing with Trumpists. They take one or two facts and extrapolate them to a conclusion that just isn't supported by the facts. For you, 1 + 1 = 3, or 700. After all, 1 is a number, and 1 is another number, and if you add them together you get a bigger number.

So you have no evidence he was unaware of investigations going on in the agency he ran and no evidence he ever said he was unaware of the investigation when he apologized which you also glossed over.
