I noticed a closed thread addressing this question. I wondered what the OP was driving at. All I could deduce was that because there are some black celebrities in America, she considers it some sort of a win. I can only assume the OP has done little or no travel outside of America. If she had, she'd know that in some western nations (my own included), minorities are some of the richest. AND they got rich the usual way (business, investments, etc), not via celebrity. The OP evidently knows nothing of the wealth of the Chinese diaspora, just for starters. Nor the new breed of Indian entrepreneur. And then there are the sub-Saharan Africans .... some of whom are now quite wealthy, despite starting new lives as dirt poor refugees. Anyway, I'm curious to know what that topic was actually about. Any input welcome!
