    Hey Kerry, are you listening?

Even though this article is a few months old, it does address something many of us have talked about and that is the wealthy people, many of them global warming alarmists, are the worst CO2 violators around. Yeah, the article has claims of doom and gloom while wanting higher taxes on the rich in order to save the planet, but at least they're not looking at my car, dishwasher or water heater.

No one is safe from the global warming mafia.

. The "report" is a piece of crap. But then it's from the Guardian; so there's that.

Probably, but it's nice to see the alarmists go after the private jets and yachts rather than my light bulbs.

Kerry and his rich pals are exempt from Kerry's crusade. Just like Biden doesn't travel by electric Air Force One, electric Marine One, and electric bullet-proof SUVs. And are there any solar panels on the White House roof?

It's also a good bet they drive a gas guzzler to the grocery store.

There is a method to their mad climate claims. They are not stupid at all.

One of the goals of progressivism is to control other human beings. They are obsessed with the concept. Radical climate change measures are the perfect means of achieving that goal. You limit the amount of energy available. You make energy very expensive, and then you set up a welfare state based “need,” but more on compliance with their demands. Those who comply are given enough energy and food to live. Those don’t are starved or incarcerated.

In the mean time, the lives of the elites are unchanged. They live in mansions, eat gourmet food and travel to wherever they like in luxury. In that way, they will have “saved the planet,” and made themselves more powerful. John Kerry is the poster boy for this philosophy. Gavin Newsom is another.

Yeah, Newsom and Kerry are the smartest two people on the planet. Just ask 'em.

And use those bags to carry their plastic wrapped meat, and plastic wrapped produce, and plastic wrapped bread home to their 60,000 square feet of homes.

Kerry and Biden don't even have solar panels on their multiple mansions.

The carbon tax credit is just the newest scheme to redistribute wealth and kill capitalism, the main purpose of the global warming scare.

    Plastic bags help lower emissions.
Shock Findings: Plastic Shopping Bags Cause Around Four Times Less ‘Carbon’ Emissions than Paper Substitutes

    BY CHRIS MORRISON

If green activists truly worried about atmospheric greenhouse gases (GHG) such as carbon dioxide, they would bring back plastic shopping bags tomorrow. But they wouldn’t – the whipped up plastic scare has been too useful a tool to batter people into accepting the relentless drive to embrace inferior products and technologies. The acceptance of reduced lifestyle choices, and the unlimited chance for middle class activists to virtue signal, is part of the all-important collectivisation under the planned Net Zero project. But now a recent science paper has revealed that in 15 out of 16 applications of plastic covering 90% of global volume, the alternatives actually produced more greenhouse gases. . . . .
