    A few years ago, people where voting in California to make gay marriage illegal.. the overton window made it normal and now a guy in a beard and a dress can try to force young girls legally to fondle his balls.

    It should be made perfectly clear that we are not talking about a doctor refusing to examine someone for how they identify, we are actually talking about a request for the doctor to examine specific body parts which the patient does not have. If I were to walk into a doctor's office and ask them to examine my ovaries (which I do not actually have), the doctor has every right to deny me that service. Whether I identify as male or female is irreverent, it is the fact that I do not have the parts I am asking to be examined. Ricky Gervais is not in the wrong on this, but unfortunately his comments are now going to get lumped together with other people who actually are transphobic.

    He was sarcastically commenting on a scenario which is not medically feasible, which is relevant to the topic of someone requesting a doctor to examine parts which the patient does not have. The joke is not directed towards transgender people as a whole, it is a joke directed towards making requests from doctors which serve no medical purpose.

    The individual in question is a POS who used his/her supposed transgenderism to attempt to force waxing places to wax his genitals and when they refused, attempted to extort them, and when that failed, launched a Human Rights Tribunal Case.

    And failed. Miserably.

    You really need to educate yourself on what a strawman is before you use the word.

    You claimed it was trolling to point out the barbarity of Canadian law in reference to free speech and I once again had to reference hard facts proving the laws are not only exactly what I said they are but gave you a direct example of them fining someone for a joke just as the subject of this thread dictated.
