    I'm inclined to vote for Liz in the primary. She is my favorite candidate. I like Bernie but I voted for him last time and he didn't win. It's time to give Liz a shot. Don't know about the other millions of black voters ...

    I was tempted to vote for her when she drank a beer in a way that almost human. Her Pow Wow Chow authentic Native American family recipes pushed me even further in her direction. These didn't quite get me there though. Perhaps if she regaled us with stories of her great grand dad's experiences on the Trail of Tears I would pull the lever for her.

    We also shouldn't vote for the party that defends racist rhetoric coming from the POTUS.

    The lame Fauxcahauntas stuff just makes her more likeable. This is partly because if that's the worst you've got (and it must be based on its relentless use) she should have a pretty scandal free candidacy.

    It does not make her more likable-it reminds people how inauthentic she is.

    Not exactly what she needs with her black support right now.

    Blacks kind of supported Hillary-but Warren is even worse.

    Thing is, it isn't the worst she's got - just LISTENING to her ALONE is far worse. I'm not talking about what she's saying here but how she says it. Her policies - yeah, those are even more problematic but she's not getting past her presentation and if Nixon/Kennedy taught us anything, presentation is pretty darn important.

    Even when I disagree with you I usually respect the way you arrived at the conclusions you came to but this one - nah, you're way off-base here. Fauxcahauntas doesn't make her more likable; it makes her more contemptible. It's a reminder that she faked her way to success, something she recently had to apologize for. You might as well say that the nicknames thrown at Rachel Dolezal made her more likable too.

    Most blacks have been voting Democrat since 1970. Why do you figure voting for the party that created Jim Crow laws, created the Klan and backed slavery was ever going to do anything to benefit blacks? You folks only have yourselves to blame...

    If you say so. You keep voting for the party of the Klan and Jim Crow, just stop whining about why blacks aren't seeing improvements while Democrats are in office. Oddly black unemployment is at a historical low under Trump, go figure...

    You're correct, but why did black folks stop voting Republican. The reason being the 2 parties basically flip flopped, southern democrats flocked to the republican party, why do you think the south is republican controlled today.

    In case you haven’t noticed, the party of the KKK and Jim Crow is over. Just as the Republican Party has shifted away from its long record of civil rights, the Democratic Party has shifted away from its racist past. The tables have turned 180 degrees. At this point, especially with the emergence of the Trump/Duke coalition, the GOP is now definitely the party of ignorant white supremicists. Anybody with two eyes and two ears can plainly see this.

    If I had to vote Democrat, and I won't, I would not vote for Warren. Now, I know this post seems like baiting. I don't mean it that way. I'm telling the truth. I cannot see what she has to offer that some others, not really very popular have.
    Maybe it's because I am much more conservative that liberal? Maybe it's because I've lived long enough to know that anything the government does costs ten times more than they say it will and never works the way they promise?
    Warren is mostly a liar. I know. Trump is too. I know. They all are. The trouble is, knowing what she said in a few interviews years ago reveals to me how she thinks and it's not the way she talks now.
    Add to that, wanting to take more money from everyone and combining that with what I know the government does with money, and anything the government says they will do with my money is suspect.
    It's really scary. Look at the social security program. It should be solvent. You think your college fund or reparations or health insurance will ever be solvent? You're kidding yourself and dooming us all.
    IMO YMMV
