What is this Nazi Germany, where we need Goebles to do propaganda films to convince people what to believe? If a candidate needs a movie to tell the whole story, be afraid and run in the other direction.
Silly... maybe. But the audience did boo a gay Marine and did cheer at someone dying from not having health insurance. Would you like to see the video?
Indeed. I watched Ingraham filling in for O'Reilly on Monday night and she highlighted that the 4 hour mockumentary on Hillary starts in 1998. After Lewinsky, Starr, White Water........
Nope. Change the way moderation of the debates is handled. Half the questions could be asked by Crowley, the other half by Krauthammer. Next debate, half by Bob Shieffer, the other half by Rush Limbaugh. We'll see if they still want debates.
Don't be silly. If all the members of the party running for the nomination agreed not to advertise on NBC or NBC affiliates, that would hurt NBC quite a bit as they would lose out on millions and millions of dollars of ad revenues, and it would not hurt the candidates one bit if they all adhere to the agreed boycott.
You can always tell a liberal is losing an argument when they lamely try to completely change the subject at hand. We're discussing NBC's airing of a movie about the elderly Hillary Clinton, and the RNC's response to same. Please stay on topic within this thread.
Wow I didn't know the GOP had the right to tell NBC what programming it should air. I think the GOP leadership knows how bad some of things said in the debates made their candidates look, so now they are trying to get out of airing debates and this "movie" is just the excuse. Anyone with a brain sees this for what it is.... fear.
You mean like having a moderator lie on television to protect her candidate? Why the (*)(*)(*)(*) would any candidate want to have to debate their opponent and his media lackey?
Poor Hillary, she appeared nuts back in 1998. How on earth can we believe she's sane now?
I didn't know I said that they did. But they have the right to boycott NBC as a response. Anyone with a brain realizes how idiotic that last statement is since the debates will still be widely televised, just not on NBC.
The RNC is signaling desperation. The point made that if the RNC gets away with this, the the DNC will likely follow is a good one. Maybe NBC should give the Hillary movie to PBS? Perhaps the DNC should refuse FOX a debate?
It's not surprising; Hannity (who, according to talk show host Michael Savage, wraps himself in the American Flag) is nothing more then a mouthpiece for the Republican Party The fairness doctrine (FCC Rules at the time requiring equal time) went out the window in 1981 (thank you Ronald Reagan) and its unlikely that it'll ever come back. I think the media is permanently balkinized unfortunately.
What is so wrong with this? NBC is doing this for ratings and to push a political agenda. The RNC wont have debates on NBC if they show such blatant bias which will hurt their ratings... I dont see the issue.
Its a pure puff piece designed to get the brain dead to vote for her clueless blood stained hands leftist loser ass.
If nothing else, this points out that the RNC is desperate and is scared to death of Hillary. The latest polling says that Christie is the only Repub out there who can challenge her.
Lame point. If ABC did a puff piece movie of the week about Jeb Bush, the *******s would be yelling and screaming even louder.
I think the RNC has started a bad precedent. They are being viewed as being desperate, even by the right wing.
It looks more like libs are the ones running scared. The lib Fourth Estate openly supporting a candidate like this is not normal. Or at least not in America. Hitler had his propaganda machine shilling for the Nazi state but that should not happen in a democracy.
You do realize that the percentage of the white vote is dropping in each election cycle? The demographics are not in favor of the far right, ultra conservative, bagging GOPers. And still, they dismiss people like Christie who appeals to people on both sides of the aisle.
