Non sequitur, as under the Constitution that's the job of the Senate.
    Doesn't matter, obviously.
    Sure it is.
What defense counsel ever had such power as Senate Republicans have? What prosecutor ever had such power as a Democrat Senate would have?

Yes I have as much as I can stomache bullshit and buffalo chips. The only thing they've demonstrated is that there's a lot of people in DC would do anything and say anything to get rid of Trump and that alone makes it worthwhile having him there.

This just isn't true. The Chief Justice is an executive administrator, maybe something akin to the Senior VP of Human Resources in a corporation, a high powered traffic cop. There could be instances where he can squelch this or that but primarily the Senate "has the sole power to try an impeachment" though they must follow procedural rules and things like due process. The Senate will decide,in virtually all cases, what witnesses they will call, for example.

I hope history is unkind to Adam Schiff who has proven over and over again that he is a liar and a hypocrite.

He is a saint compared to Adam Schiff and Jerry Nadler. Those two are lying hypocrites who are not only abusing their powers in the House, but are constructing attacks to topple the current government.

And the Senate can on a majority vote over rule the Chief justice.

You'll have to repeat that throughout the entire process for these Trump haters since a huge number of them only KNOW what CNN or MSNBC tells them.

I'm waiting for the Democrats to accuse Roberts of being biased.
When he was nominated for the Supreme Court position the following voted no:
    Charles Schumer
    Joe Biden
    Ted Kennedy
    Richard Durbin
    Dianne Feinstein

Stop eating the buffalo chips for starters; then listen with an open mind putting aside all politics and grasp the importance to our country of what the managers are saying. It's only bs in your mind because you are taking what your republican party says as the word of god. If you take a look at Trumps history prior to the presidency, it will be an eye opener for you.

You could review the leftist position when it was in the House, if you'd like.

"It's a political process, not a legal one."

    How quickly they forget.

Also, you should know, the Senate can overrule Roberts.

You should try reading about it somewhere other than Time.

Been there done that hyperbole misqotes and bastardizations of quotes isn't a reason to impeach a president.

Says the guy who thinks Roberts is in charge and doesn't realize that Impeachment is a political process INTENTIONALLY not involving the Judicial branch that INTENTIONALLY put the Chief Justice in because of the conflicts of having the Vice President preside over presidential impeachments.

    "Read the Constitution" he says.

Are you kidding Me. Why should you put your trust in any politician? Government can't make your life better it can, at best, furnish circumstances in which you can improve your own situation. Trump isn't laying chains on you or throwing obstacles in your path. Democrats are.

Obviously Trumps background is an embarrassment for you to discuss but lets be honest in this case, all Trump is doing is stealing and committing offenses against the American people, including the 18-29 year old's who are likely to inherit a country in shambles due to his actions.

Meanwhile Trump hasn't stolen a damn thing and the country is in better shape economically than it's been in two decades you stand to benefit enormously from this if you can just get out of your own way.

You say that the country is in better shape?? I'll bet if you asked the 18-29 year olds, they say If you are a 1%er or upper class then that's true; but the middle and lower class got thrown under the bus, but trump doesn't care. Most of them are the one's who suffer; where's the great health plan he promised for the American people? What about the 40ft concrete wall he promised that Mexico would pay for?? He promised to cancel funding for all sanctuary cities and it never happened; he was supposed to push for term limits for congress, what happened to that promise?? You say the economy is great; that's wonderful news if you own stocks, but what about if you don't own stocks? All you got was an empty bag. Trump claimed when running for office that he wouldn't have time to play golf since he'd be so busy; to date, he's played more golf in 3 years then obama played in 8 years; all at American taxpayers expense. What we have right now is not a president, but a dictator who's above the law. The 18 - 29 year olds notice this too; if trump survives impeachment, they are not going to forget it come election day.

Actually, I'm still holding out hope that most 18-29 year are smart enough to know that the Dems are selling them buckets of swill and aren't going to run out and lap up the poisonous crap.

Whatever Roberts says can be over ruled by a majority vote of the Senate.

    That's just the fact.
