Roe protestor arrested on attempted murder charges after using a flame-thrower on LAPD officer. Media response? Crickets.

    snip

While many will argue (already being seen on social media) that it was simply a can of hairspray and a lighter, the fact remains that an officer was on the receiving end of that flame and had to be treated for serious burns to the face and head. Ortiz can be seen trying to flee the scene after igniting the flame, only to be apprehended by police.

I have scoured NPR, ABC, NBC, CBS and found no mention of this nor did it make the night time news.

It makes you wonder...................if this was a pro-life person doing this as opposed to a pro-baby-death person

He is now sitting in jail on charges of attempted murder of a police officer.

Oh... It's the last week in June? That's right, this is the week you pretend to be pro-police...

Can you post your schedule for future use?

Dumbass is looking at a serious charge....

I though California was an open hairspray carry state?

Without going to Hawaii or Alaska, this terrorist/insurrectionist is about as far away from the Supreme Court as he could possibly be, and what does he do when the Justices are probably sleep? He tries to murder a cop who had nothing to do with the ruling and no influence in changing it.

This is another situation where liberals act on their emotions rather than common sense. Now he’s locked up and needs to cough up 10% of the needed bail money which he probably can’t do. Hopefully, for the sake of his pets, he either doesn’t have any or someone will be taking care of them. And if he has a wife, kids and a decent jobs, well, he just screwed all of them along with himself.

I hope he doesn’t have pets that need to be taken care of. I care more about what happens to them than this terrorist POS.

Oh, and liberal media, thanks for keeping us informed.

No doubt, imagine being a police officer in a place where even the DA isn't on your side.

Isn't this Gascón's district? The charges will probably be dropped.

Wouldn't be a surprise, California is so xxxxed up!

Two men from Washington state accused of possessing $750,000 worth of fentanyl are now out of jail and members of the Tulare County community and the Central Valley are not happy about it.

“How does this happen without the top two law enforcement officers of the county not even know it?” asked Tulare County District Attorney Tim Ward.

Ward and Tulare County Sheriff Mike Boudreaux says they didn't learn about the release until Monday.

The two were released 18 hours later after a public safety assessment was carried out Saturday.

These assessments depend on an algorithm that looks at the criminal history and other factors to make "risk predictions" on whether a person is likely to be re-arrested or if they'll miss their court date.

Boudreaux says the two men did not show up to court Tuesday as scheduled.

Oh..... now I see where this is coming from.... I didn't originally see the Twitter poster of the video

You sure that guy was going for the cop??

After having watched the video, much like Rudy, I suspect attempted murder is an early overreaction charge... I'm going first degree assault in the end...

If only there was a good guy with a flamethrower this could have all been prevented!

I am glad he was arrested and hope they throw the figurative book at him.

What is sad is that he was "protesting" (rioting) in a dictatorship (California) where abortion will still be legal anyway (IOW, absolutely nothing changed).

Too many people don't even realize what the reversal of Roe v Wade means, and how it is actually "pro-freedom" rather than "pro-mandate/ban".

Liberals seem to think that whatever they like must be mandated nationwide and whatever they hate must be banned nationwide.

The freedom option that they hate is for individual states to decide for themselves what they want.

If you're a liberal and hate the fact that Wisconsin considers abortion to be a felony offense, then move down to Illinois and become a FIB; they'd be glad to have you and I'd be glad to rid as many liberals like you as possible from my state.
