Roger Stone calls black radio host Negro

Wow. Just when you thought Roger Stone couldn't be more of a creep, this comes along. This will not look good for Trump having just commuted Stone's sentence. Stone's later non-apology offensive makes him look even worse.
If you have any doubts that is what Stone said, listen to the recording. It is unmistakable.

 

Calling a Black a negro is like calling a White a caucasian, or calling an Asian person Oriental, or calling a Muslim a Middle Eastern. Who the hell cares? Hey guess what. There were 70 Negros shot in Chicago this weekend all by other Negros.

In the English language, Negro is a term historically used to denote persons considered to be of Negroid heritage. The term can be construed as offensive, inoffensive, or completely neutral, largely depending on the region or country where it is used. It has various equivalents in other languages of Europe.

The Negro Leagues Baseball Museum (NLBM) is a privately funded museum dedicated to preserving the history of Negro league baseball in America. It was founded in 1990 in Kansas City, Missouri, in the historic 18th & Vine District, the hub of African-American cultural activity in Kansas City during the first half of the 20th century. The NLBM shares its building with the American Jazz Museum.

Take a good look because by this time next week there’s a very good chance this building will be destroyed by arson from the woke liberal leftist cancel culture White millennials that still live in their parents’ basement.



I remember a year ago when a Negro CNN legal analyst said to David Webb that he has White privilege. Only problem is that David Webb is an African American. This is priceless.

This is about as lame as the whole "if black people can say it, so can I" rationalization. The term is considered an outdated term to describe African Americans, in fact that organization doesn't use that word in their title anymore, they only use the abbreviation. There was a time when that was the preferred term for African Americans, but in the later 60s civil rights leaders shifted away from using that word since it sounded too close to the N word.

Ultimately the word "negro" is simply the latin word for "black" so it isn't considered as obscene as the N word, but it still is considered to be an outdated term to describe African Americans. Hence why that organization doesn't use that word any more

The National Negro Business League is an American organization founded in Boston in 1900 by Booker T. Washington to promote the interests of African-American businesses. The mission and main goal of the National Negro Business League was "to promote the commercial and financial development of the Negro." It was recognized as "composed of negro men and women who have achieved success along business lines". It grew rapidly with In 320 chapters in 1905 and more than 600 chapters in 34 states in 1915.

 

Really? I guess no one told the Negro League Baseball Museum that was constructed in 1990.

OK. So most of you are going with the Stone defense. As in, it's a perfectly acceptable word, and there is nothing wrong with it.
I Would love to see how long you lasted at work, socially, and in day to day life if you used the word instead of black.
More importantly, you chose to ignore the fact that he says "i can't beleive I'm arguing with this negro". Use any term you want, Black, black, african-american, the word that one suspects he really would like to use, and it is still an absolutely unequivocally racist statement.

 

This is a distraction. Pejoratives entirely aside Stone saying what he said in the way and context he said it is about as racist as you can get. And he said it purposely, IMO, to reassure the racists in Trump's base that Trump still hates the right people.

I can't understand why Stone needed to go on this guy's show. Stone does like to mix it up with different hosts. He's Alex Jones in that manner. I don't excuse his language but it doesn't have nothing to do with Trump. Stone is mixing it up with this guy, other interviews he's got into brawls with hosts. He's that type of guy. Call him a racist I guess i call him more of a WWE type of guest. If you want fireworks bring Stone on your show.

Yes you are probably correct that he wanted to call him by the name of the country in Africa that starts with an "N" ends with a "r" has an "I" and a "g" and an "e". Yes I said probably. but I am probably right, I usually am. He would just pronounce it differently e.g. with a short "I". Guess what word that would be.
