These guys sound really good together. Very smooth interview. They tackled everything Bob threw at them and made it look easy. They knocked it out of the park. Sit back at take a listen. This may be more of a dream team that I thought. They just oooz credibility. Look for complaints about softballs from liberals. And here they, in my mind, crush Obama on the Medicare issues. Schieffer? Republicans? Break out the softballs! Geez, why do you think Romney picked Schieffer? http://www.politico.com/blogs/media/2012/08/romney-finds-safety-in-cbs-and-schieffer-131897.html
You always know the republicans did well when liberals start complaining about softballs. Dead giveaway. I don't however seem to remember too many complaints about Shieffer being too easy on Obama.
Schieffer is a Liberal and 60 Minutes selectively edited out parts that made them look even better. For instance.... VIDEO OF RYAN TALKING ABOUT HIS MOTHER IN FLORIDA ON MEDICARE AND HOW HE DOES NOT ADVOCATE CUTTING IT FOR HER OR ANY CURRENT SENIORS If they didn't edit it out, it would have screwed up the Left Wing's false narrative.
Yea well the facts remain the same, Obamacare cuts Medicare by at least 500 Billion with no reform. It sucks to be a Obama Toe Lickers nowadays, or so it seems! Hell the talking heads can not defend it but I'm sure you will give the ole' college try but it aint flying with no one except for the choir that seems to be getting smaller an smaller.
You can forward all the debunked false narratives you want. At the end of the day, all the people can hear Ryan and Romney in their own words. Also, we can all now read what is in Obamacare which clearly SLASHES OVER $700,000,000 from SENIORS MEDICARE. So... keep it up... as we need someone to be made an example of... and you are a perfect target.
I don't know why Romney picked Schieffer because CBS is a Democrat Party affiliate. I wouldn't give the lib news media any interviews if I were in Romney's place.
You have to. It was a great interview, Schieffer asked the most immediate questions, they fielded them perfectly. It gave a great introduction to Democrats to see two guys who knew what they were talking about. They make a team, they ooze unity, they reek of solution, they command the issues. Obama and Biden a team? Biden is a drag on the loser, they support division, they blame and complain and throw responsibility everywhere else but on themselves, they act immature and side step talking about where we are as a country. That interview stood out as a very good step in the right direction because now those dedicated MSM viewers can compare the hopelessness of Obama/Biden to the determination of two responsible people who actually know hoe to do something, Romney/Ryan.
Yea, you are right. Because he didn't ask them what news paper they read. Afterall that is question that everyone wants to know.
CBS and Bob Schieffer are no friend of Romney. They work for Obama and sooner or later that will catch up to Romney. This was the interview that CBS edited in order to make Ryan look as bad as possible by cutting out his answer about his mother.
Very good interview. They seemed very calm and collected and answered everything properly. Job well done!
Good together? I don't know. I think Ryan overshadows Romney by a long shot. Certainly his plans, though I disagree with them, have much more of an air of credibility and detail over Romney's plans, and he most certianly articulates them better. He is able to answer questions in terms longer than the average attention span. I do not know if it is complementary to Romney that his VP pick does, in my opinion, come off as much more competent and relatable (if that is a word) than Romney himself does.
I hear that and see your point. However, Ryan is more of a budget guy, numbers are a calling. MItt has the roll up the sleeves thing with being a businessman, mover and shaker, investment thing. He has driven companies with sound leadership. Ryan certainly holds the personality factor better than Mitt.
