All he does is speak common sense...and still people just don't want to listen. No pain, no gain people. There is no easy or lazy way out...and more debt - like this $450 billion dollar 'jobs bill' - is definitely the (attempted) easy and lazy way out.
He's exactly right. We are in serious trouble and it has been building over the years. People, everyone knows that we are in financial trouble and will have to make cuts to survive. Ron Paul will cut out the most obvious parts of our corrupt system, war funding and corporate favoritism/handouts/bailouts. They just cannot help themselves when it comes to picking winners and losers. We have nothing close to a free market system when the government decides everything based on their backroom handshakes.

On a serious note, you realize that nationalizing the banking system is the Ron Paul approach, correct? (I remember seeing your thread about this). And that everyone else is in cahoots with continuing this rule by the banking elite? He does not care if the states create social programs. He believes that the federal government should be involved with what they are allowed by law to be involved with, and that the federal reserve, especially since going off of the gold standard 40 years ago, are just international bankers profiting from the failure of America.

Who gives a (*)(*)(*)(*) what Lincoln wanted??? that was over 100 years ago. We must put strict regulations on our banks with extremely high fines for law breaking. For example, BoA wrongfully forecloses on a home (which is standard practice) They must be fined 700 million per violation.
Oh, we've had the regulations but they always seem to FAIL, and your boys, the liberal fairness police, managed to push the bankers even further to relaxing their lending policies, as they held interest rates low creating the pseudo-housing-boom. On top of all of that, why should we pay interest on money that they print? I mean, really, we pay interest on money that international bankers print for spending by our government. Meaning that it is already a ponzi scheme because more money is owed from the get-go than is even in existence!
