My rosebush is being eaten by some nasty parasites which look like silk worms. In early morning, I see some white little wriggling things hanging off silky threads, and also bigger empty brown shells which must have contained some sort of insects near my rosebuds who are getting covered with a white sticky web during the night. I suspect they're coming from my upstair neighbor who's an exchange Chinese student learning how to make French bread (I caught her making lots of noise at 5 am one morning because of that) and who probably stores bags of flour on her balcony. (I'd gladly get rid of her, too, mostly because she keeps walking with high heels in the evening even after I kindly asked her to try harder at being respectful with the neighborhood; but it would be a very serious crime and I don't want to bother my lawyer of a dad too much).

So I've bought some chemical stuff to spray on it at the garden shop; but firstly it's expensive, and lastly it doesn't seem to work. So I asked some friend who told me to simply spray soap and water, except it's very hot in Paris nowadays and the leaves don't seem to appreciate my soap that much. As a final solution today, I've decided to empty a bottle of cold water containing a high dose of LSD, that a visiting "friend" from Thailand insisted I should drink some day, on the little (*)(*)(*)(*)ers.

As you can see, I'm running out of reasonable solutions and would greatly appreciate some help.

I think the best solution is to go to a hardware store and ask a sales associate for a spray that will kill insects attacking a rose bush.

Sounds like rose slugs though it seems the wrong time of year. See if you can find a Spinosad-based product if you want to be organic (which may not be the case if you are getting them strung out on LSD LOL)
