I think a person's body is the subject of the sovereign whether we like it or not. I'm personally a pro choice moderate but the "it's my body" statement no longer works for me. It's my body too that works and is obliged to pay taxes. I guess I'm just looking for new and more persuasive arguments. And my body, or anyone's body, is used for any number of reasons including providing tax funds for the support of others. I'd think a man more likely to die, using his body to work at a job to pay child support than a woman is to die from a pregnancy. What is your point?
