The RNC has sacrificed another one trying to take down Mr T. His trump mocking makes him look like a dumb punk kid. Only trump can pull of craziness like what Rubio is trying and he knows the limits. Cruz tried to be funny too and when it didnt work he pulled it back FAST. rubio makeing small penis references takes it to absurdity. I cant believe he fell for that. whoever designed that attack is either a high school kid or a saboteur working for Donald. I cant wait to see rubios numbers tomorrow. Kasich and carson might end up getting more support.

is rubio the most ignorant candidate in RNC history? I think he might be.

where do they go from here..........Megan Kelly?......Carrot Top?

Rubio has no chance for the nomination.

It will be either Trump, or somebody like Ryan or Romney at a brokered convention.

That has been apparent for a while now.

so i know people deny this but if trump wins a sizable plurality like 40% ish but not majority (so brokered convention) and somebody else gets chosen the republican party will be so broken that you may as well just dissolve and start over.

Im not even talking about a third party run. Im just talking about the disillusionment your base will feel.

Two of Mr. Trump’s opponents have openly acknowledged that they may have to wrest the Republican nomination from him in a deadlocked convention.

Speaking to political donors in Manhattan on Wednesday evening, Mr. Rubio’s campaign manager, Terry Sullivan, noted that most delegates are bound to a candidate only on the first ballot. Many of them, moreover, are likely to be party regulars who may not support Mr. Trump over multiple rounds of balloting, he added, according to a person present for Mr. Sullivan’s presentation, which was first reported by CNN.

Advisers to Mr. Kasich, the Ohio governor, have told potential supporters that his strategy boils down to a convention battle. Judd Gregg, a former New Hampshire senator who had endorsed Jeb Bush, said Mr. Kasich’s emissaries had sketched an outcome in which Mr. Kasich “probably ends up with the second-highest delegate count going into the convention” and digs in there to compete with Mr. Trump.

Several senior Republicans, including Mr. Romney, have made direct appeals to Mr. Kasich to gauge his willingness to stand down and allow the party to unify behind another candidate. But Mr. Kasich has told at least one person that his plan is to win the Ohio primary on March 15 and gather the party behind his campaign if Mr. Rubio loses in Florida, his home state, on the same day.

In Washington, Mr. Kasich’s persistence in the race has become a source of frustration. At Senate luncheons on Wednesday and Thursday, Republican lawmakers vented about Mr. Kasich’s intransigence, calling it selfishness......snip~

ryan is a no go. he has already stated no way in hell he would accept that. This was brought up a couple weeks ago and he was very adamant that it was not going to be him regardless of what rumors float around because he does not want the job.

Romney.... eh... I dont know. I think he is trying to play trump into working with the RNC. trump aint falling for it. He flat out Called Romney a loser yesterday LOL. Actually I think he called him a weak pathetic loser.

Right. As Dirty Harry once said, a man has got to know his limitations. Rubio and Carson both need to realise this and just vie for a possible VP spot, if they're interested. I don't know about Kasich - he's one of the more quiet ones, it seems, and that by itself makes him seem like a reasonable choice. He's not off the wall or eccentric and might manage to appeal to a wider audience.

still not going to happen. People like to talk about the downballot effects of trump. There is a downballot effect to giving the middle finger to half your party too.

kasich is running nationally at around 7% last time I checked LOL. Trump is at 49%.

RNC is loosing a lot of voters this election if they dont get their heads out of their rears. They should be going after hillary non stop right now and they are running campaigns against the front runner polling 49% when the next closest cant even break 20%. whats even worse is now they are just making crap up against Trump and destroying any credibility they have left. Independents block is going to grow after this election.

The small penis references were really stupid. Rubio wandered into a ring that he is not familiar with. Trump's attacks are calculated .. Rubio is wildly swinging like there are flies buzzing his ears.

I'm telling you he is done. His tactic will have the opposite effect. Trump will end up being more likable and Rubios favorability will drop like a rock. Rubio is an absolute fool for going this route. Its the exact opposite strategy from what made his numbers rise.

cruz is a dang idiot right now. He is saying Trump is hiding his taxes because he is Al Capone. Yet there is no evidence of any of this. Just out of nowhere....he is the MOB!!!!

Rubio is in a desperate situation and likely threw away his chance at the VP slot, which I felt he was running for all along.

Rubio dies on March 15 if he loses Florida. But his campaign team has told Rubio's reasoning: To get in the media spotlight any possible way no matter how extreme. So far, he is rising in polls so he may not be all that off with this approach. By framing it as Rubio versus Trump, rather than Cruz versus Trump, he hopes for BOTH "establishment" vote AND anti-Trump vote.

With Cruz likely able to declare he's still in the game by squeaking off a technical (but not delegate) win in Texas, he will stay alive a little bit longer. But Texas poises a MASSIVE danger to Rubio. If Rubio gets less than 20% in Texas he gets ZERO delegates - and Rubio has been polling at 19% - which in delegates is ZERO. Rubio MUST win SOMEWHERE, ANYWHERE, to stay alive.

So, understandably Rubio is basically screaming LOOK AT ME! LOOK AT ME!

    1) National Review say a brokered convention is almost impossible in the modern age (and they aren't Trump supporters)

    2) GOP voters would abandon the party in droves if Trump was denied

No Cruz stays pending the results of a cat scan. I wont give up on Ted that easy. Did the RNC lobotomize him? This is the guy that stopped amnesty and is MR anti establishment. They absolutely hate him. More than clinton.

Considering he's like 15 years old or something, he should just be a good little boy and hope for a Trump VP slot. Lots of years in the future to run on his own again.

    - - - Updated - - -

Ted has good political positions, but he's not electable. Even Rubio would do better than Cruz with old Hillary. Trump is the only one who can crush her, though.

I am not saying cruz for the nominee I just want him staying in our government. We need him. He has shown to be the only one smart enough to beat the establishment while being within the system. Cruz has to stay.

what he is doing as of late is absurd though. Only thing I can come up with is he has a pact with Trump.

I think we will know for sure after tomorrow. But I reckon you're right. I doubt there is anything that can be done to stop[ Trump from gaining the nomination.

    True.

And, also (as is apparent), a good share of them will "abandon the party in droves" if Trump gets the nomination.

It sounds like a win/win for Hillary in the fall.

Rubio should maybe stop bringing up the “con man Trump University" issue?

Found this on Trump’s site: https://www.donaldjtrump.com/press-...tion-of-misleading-ads-produced-by-marco-rubi

:roflol: Latter rated all 5s for "excellent" despite --

This just in. Ted Cruz could possibly be suspending his campaign. Do not waste your vote on Cruz.

The funniest part is that statement comes from..... Ted Cruz.

so far one of the patters of this campaign has been Ted blocking Rubio to raise Trump and trump blocking rubio to raise Cruz.

could teds nutty Mafia accusation be so outlandish that it is a strategy to discredit all negative trump accusations from the RNC regarding Trump? I have followed cruz for years. This is how he rolls. He has a CIA mentality when it comes to tactics. Its a big reason why he is so hated by corrupt politicians.... he cheats.

I doubt it......and don't be pulling one of Teds tactics out of the box. He already used that one.
