Some do. Some are paid to listen to every word he says so that they can play "GOTCHA!" when he says something even remotely controversial. Same with Hannity, Beck, and all of the other "conservative" talking heads.

These radio hosts have a extremely large and dedicated following of millions, especially rush. His influence over the climate of politics, particularly right wing politics cannot be denied.

I certainly don't. I place him in that same cesspool where Hannity, Stewart, Jackson, Sharpton, O'Reilly, and all those other guys rot. They are all clowns, like Limbaugh, dancing for my amusement. I don't give any credibility to anything they say because I understand what their angle is; to spin any given topic in the direction of their party. If people choose to give these guys credibility, then they have been played.

 

I deny it, he's a fringe radio talk show host, whereas other "less notable" sources of information are the ones people really listen to.

I dont feel when a celebrity makes a joke involving Women, that I have a duty to attack him for it. Offended Women can handle themselves just fine IMO....they dont need me and my white horse.
