Novichok is a very rare derivation of a banned nerve agent, it could possibly be made somewhere ellse, but we know Russia did develop this toxic chemical and we don't know anyone else has. Skirpal was a former Russian spy who turned double agent and worked for the British intelligence. He got caught, was sentenced to jail and subsequently released in a spy exchange. Who else would want him killed?

I can almost imagine a video from RT where a commentator says: “Earth is round, sky is blue and the US attacked Iraq in 2003, which proves that Russia had nothing to do with this poisoning.”.

The USA is NOT significant in the World Cup.

This just means a little bit less tourist/visitor money will be spent in Russia.

These events are economic boons when they happen in your country, and these boycotting nations simply want to stem some of the money going into Russia in retaliation.

I doubt that Argentina or Brazil or Germany is going to boycott.

It's a state boycott, the teams will play and just some politicians will have to stay at home. It will save some tax payers money, good thing.

Have we had everything at the Olympics a long time ago ... The West boycotted the Moscow Games in 1980, the East in Los Angeles in 1984. And what did it bring? NOTHING!

But I still find it astonishing that our entire western value system and legal system are turned upside down in this matter and the kick off of Russian diplomats!

The principle in any country with a normal legal system is:

The accusation must prove the guilt of the accused ... but not the accused prove his innocence.

What are we doing here all the time? We demand from Russia that it proves its innocence! Hello? Did our politicians not hear the bang in their heads or what kind of mental BS are they doing?

I do not think that all these leaders looked seriosly in in the case. They just followed one another like the lams for the sheperd. It is well known that to make a judgement one need to make a long investiagtion, while in this case the very next day Russia was accused in poisoning former KGB guy. This indcates that this was nothing more than a provocation from the UK side. Finally, only the court can make a decision, and there was no cour. So all this hysteria is a BS promoted by the US and the UK.

Well I never said anything about a bet,:), you brought it up, I merely said did Angela personally tell you this? Whether Germany shows up, time will tell. World cup in mid June, I won't be stateside, I'll be in SK canada where I have property, for spring work.

And chances are they will be there, not that I'm afraid to bet!

Now that's a great idea. Instead of the Brits throwing beer cans at foreign fans, and destroying their countries, they can do it at home base and start a civil war. :roflol:

How long do you think May would survive if she did that?

160 nations refused to accept Britain's word about Russia being behind the poisoning. They want proof.

What an insult and embarrassment to Britain and the all rest of the nations that went along with them. The hubris of the 'West' never ceases to amaze people. But those nations deserve it. They know damn well it's a false flag attack to hurt the games and insult Vladimir Putin the way they tried to do at Socchi and ended up losing Crimea, yet they lack the integrity to go against Britain and the US. The Austrian PM though wouldn't bow to the pressure. Bravo!

As for Germany, yesterday they signed the permits for North Stream II. So when it comes to their economy, no matter how much pressure there is from Washington, and believe me there was a lot of pressure from Congress, they don't capitulate.
