Ukrainian militants shot their ambulance near Kiev, mistaking it for Russian special forces

In Vyshgorod, the Volksshtur mistook the ambulance crew for Russian saboteurs and opened fire, killing two medics and the driver.

Anatoly Shariy: “An ambulance was shot. They didn’t shoot at the wheels, they shot at the windows, to kill.
We need to time it and see how soon the WP and NYT will shoot her not at our checkpoint, but "on the road by the Russian occupiers."

You did not just kill those who saved lives under shelling. You have killed all those wounded whom they will no longer save."

Good question. Maybe it's better when you have several people meeting and discussions can get tense. It's hard enough to avoid a mess of people talking over each other on a friendly podcast when everyone is remote, from what I've seen.

The Putin shills who fantasize about Ukraine's Jewish Nazis and their bioweapons labs will be in a snit when their "savvy genius" skulks away after losing, among other things, an oligarch armada.

"Obsolete" NATO was deftly resurrected as the U.S. reasserted it's leadership of the world's democracies.

Putin is driving a hard bargain, insisting, as a two-face-saving gesture, that he be allowed to continue occupying a large swath of his table.

Yeah, we're leading again now, but who knows what will happen next time the wingnuts get their guy into the White House? I know that Europeans are concerned about this even now.

And rightly so. A self-obsessed weakling, too feeble to honestly admit defeat, is eminently vulnerable to manipulation by America's enemies guided by psychological assessments.

Hardly. Russians have repeatedly demonstrated they can execute poisoning operations in foreign countries.

Probably because Russians would then use the signal to send a missile toward the Ukrainian negotiators.

Of course they warned them after the poisoning a few days ago in Kiev. Oops! No it couldn't be Kiev, that doesn't fit into the narrative, it must have been Moscow or London where the Russians reside.

Anyway the talks came to nil as expected. What Zalensky offered should have been offered the day Russia invaded, but now it's too late. Ukraine is a goner. All that's needed now is for Poland, Hungary and Romania to think of their own people in Ukraine and take back the lands that were rudely taken away from them by Lenin and Stalin.

As for what's going on. Well it seems the Russian leadership is in the Urals ready to push the button if necessary. In 2 days the EU will die, as the taps are shut off.

If you got more about Putin, I say he's evil to take away Ukraine's freedom, humanity, and democracy and replace it with his dictatorship.

There is plenty of gas, however the Germans are cheap self-serving bastards and don't want to pay more for it from someone else.

I wish Putin would cut everyone off from Russia's oil and gas so that we could end the war in Ukraine and kick Putin's Army out of it. However, Putin is too much of a coward to cut it off.

Only thing saving Putin is his cheap convenient gas.

Weve been leading in the weapons to Ukraine domain since Trump reversed Obamas policy of only supplying non lethal aid to Ukraine.

Russian like to claim hitting Ukrainian ammo storage sites, but I’ve never seen spectacular explosions that follow such hits.
Here, in Belgorod, is a good example of how an ammo storage depot burns:

    Fireworks! Time to paarteeeey!

Your inability to separate fact from fiction is only contributing to the problem. This is a democracy. Your country needs you to vote responsibly, so no more self-serving, demented pathological liars who try to steal elections when they lose, OK?

Yes, and that was commendable. Obama was a big dud where Russia and Ukraine were concerned.

I agree but I didn't vote for Biden or any other Democrat so blame yourself for the government we have today.

The Russians are trying to get credit for retreating.

Russia is retreating. Now give Ukraine the tools to finish the job.
    Opinion by Max Boot
Russia’s deputy defense minister announced on Tuesday that Moscow has decided to “fundamentally cut back military activity in the direction of Kyiv and Chernihiv” in order to “increase mutual trust for future negotiations to agree and sign a peace deal with Ukraine.” There was talk of progress in negotiations in Istanbul between Ukraine and Russia, and the Pentagon reported the movement of some Russian units away from Kyiv.

What to make of these developments? This is not a sudden outbreak of benevolence on the part of the war criminals in the Kremlin. Russian dictator Vladimir Putin’s evil war of aggression continues in the rest of Ukraine — as demonstrated by a missile strike on the Mykolaiv government building in southern Ukraine on Tuesday morning and the continuing siege of Mariupol, a port on the Sea of Azov, with heavy loss of civilian life.

Putin is simply acknowledging reality: His forces are losing the war around Kyiv. Indeed, following the success of a recent Ukrainian counteroffensive around the capital, Russian troops are in danger of encirclement. The Russian pullback, in short, has nothing to do with increasing “mutual trust” and everything to do with saving its forces from defeat. . . .

Americans clearly indicated that they did not want a pathetic character who has to lie when he is beaten, incites his goons to attack Congress, and would persist in groveling before his "savvy genius" and fantasizing about NATO's obsolescence.
