I havent read any links to supplying Ukraine. OTOH there has been à huge public sympathy for ukranian refugees with people opening their homes to them. There has been no voice in criticising assistance to Ukraine.

Why does the West consider these demands unrealistic?


Exclude the deployment of ground-based intermediate and shorter-range missiles in areas from which they are capable of hitting targets on the territory of other participants.

Exclude further expansion of NATO, including the accession of Ukraine, as well as other states.

NATO countries must refrain from conducting any military activity on the territory of Ukraine, as well as other states of Eastern Europe, Transcaucasia and Central Asia.

 

Putin has proven we need the expansion of NATO and he is too dangerous to be allowed to exist.

News from the war front:

On Saturday, June 18, at 12:30 local time, cruise Kalibr missiles hit the headquarters of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, where a meeting of the command staff of the operational-strategic group of troops of the South was held. The command point was located near the village of Shirokaya Dacha, in the Dnepropetrovsk region, and the hit was carried out by Kalibr cruise missiles from the Black Sea.

As a result of the strike, 57 generals and officers of the Ukrainian Armed Forces were killed, including those of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the command of the Kharkov forces and Formations operating in the Nikolaev and Zaporizje areas.

The "Kalibr" also destroyed ten M777 of 155 mm and up to 20 armoured vehicles located on the territory of the factory in Nikolaev. As specified, weapons and equipment were preparing for a mission to the line of contact.​

 

Zolote to the south of Lysychansk is claimed to have been encircled, Russians moving north from there on the and are near Lysychansk on the cities side of the river. If a retreat is not made a lot of Ukrainian troops and their volunteers will be trapped.

 

More news from the war front:

A few days ago, two Polish Battalions that were sent to reinforce Ukrainian forces suffered heavy losses during clashes with the Lugansk People's Militia near Kamyshevakha. Russians say that there are about 350 dead and believe this is what caused the resignation of Jarosław Kaczyński. In the meantime the Ukrainians claim that they are mercenaries while the Russians say it was an operation of the Polish armed forces.

In the meantime, the Lugansk Popular Militia liberated the village of Metelkino, next to the city of Severontonetsk. In the battle for the settlement, about 600 or 700 hundred Ukrainians were killed or wounded.

The Finns are not afraid.
Finland Says it is Ready to Fight Russia. Finland’s Defense Chief says that his country has prepared for decades to defend against a Russian attack and that like Ukraine, Finland would mount a stiff resistance. General Timo Kivinen said in an interview that Finnish citizens would be motivated to resist any such attack by Russia and that Finland’s military has trained for exactly the type of warfare being conducted in Ukraine. Finland’s armed forces have a peacetime strength of 280,000 with almost 900,000 trained reservists. Reuters

The United States has accused Moscow of mounting a disinformation campaign to shift blame for food shortages currently gripping Africa and parts of the Middle East toward Western sanctions on Russia.
