At the end of WW II, Russia (the Soviet Union) split off North Korea from South Korea. Then they set up a communist dictatorship in North Korea. And now we have to clean up what the Soviets did 70 years ago. But this split has given us a gift. Nowhere in the world do we see a more accurate comparison between governing from the right (South Korea) and the left (North Korea). South Korea is a modern, affluent, and thriving country. North Korea is a stagnant, squalid, depressing country where basic human rights don't exist. It is hell on earth.
