Good example. When put on the spot the least Psaki could say is 'ya sure we're ready to accept them' followed up by 'but of course most wont want to come'. There's no urgency, no real concern, just a generic political response that avoids flat out saying 'we don't want to say that we don't want them... but we don't want them'. But when the subject was Afgan refugees she went on and on about figures, and escalated schedules, and the US leading coalition efforts, and how delays wouldn't be tolerated for any reason (even security checks, covid checks), and how the Treasury Dept was rushing to distribute our money to pay for housing once they get here, and on and on and on.

Read between the lines. Progs wanted Afgans here as fast as they could be airlifted but when it comes to mostly White anti-Communist Ukrainians who would never end up voting for their party the urgency is nowhere to be found.

 

USA also doesn't tell men 18-60 not to leave the country...
