This is the type of society and leader the Russian members of this forum vehemently defend. I am not against any Russian civilian, but how can anyone defend a leader and countries political power when they are so corrupt and don't give a single crap over any of their citizens is beyond me. I figure the world is slowly evolving past the point where human life is considered pawns to die for some tyrant ruling his dictatorship. But, I reckon there will always be diehards holding onto some ancient relic like some cult. This hear is to you lucky fellows as failure to meet your dictators expectations will mean your imprisonment. https://www.reuters.com/world/europ...-serious-accusations-treason-case-2023-05-17/
Yeah....read this too. These were scientists that worked and developed possibly the Kinzals,Zircon, missile systems. In short....they're probably getting ripped a new a$$hole for billions&billions $$$ spent on total $hit performance. Not that it's entirely their fault.....I'm sure greedy corrupt paws siphoned off tons of funds for these programs and stashed it in overseas bank accounts somewhere.....but in the end....heads need to roll somewhere.
The 'Putin' standard has never been applied to the congressmen and congresswomen of the United States of America. It may be the reason those worthies are constantly reminding us that this is The Land of the Free. Regards, stay safe 'n well.
The more heads of Russians who work in the Russian military industry that roll the better it is for Ukraine, the world, and for world peace. Keep them rolling.
As long as Pootler remains....this corruption and ineptness will continue.....I thinks it's genetically ingrained.
To all the Russian trolls out there, failure is not an option. One must die in failing Putin's land grab. Look at that speedy trial within weeks. I reckon if your day job is to troll, can't stop now. Makes for some entertaining conversation. https://www.aljazeera.com/news/2023/6/2/treason-trial-of-russian-hypersonic-missile-scientist-begins
Unfortunately it looks like there is still not enough information being released by Russian authorities to know whether the arrests of these scientists are justified. At the present time, we can only speculate on the actual specific reasons. That is just how "government" works, unfortunately. There is some good reason to suspect that these prosecutions may NOT be justified, however. This could be another example of something I've been elaborating on about in this forum, the "criminalization of information".
