Sure we have, but only when we've committed to it. The problem always ends up being political will, too much emphasis on "limited engagements" and whatnot, and too many fights with ragtag militants in deserts no one has seen or heard of, where their successes are relatively small-scale and unpublished or unnoticed.

We're not sending....they're there right now.

 

Our people are in Europe in NATO countries. You of course just like those of us who know what has been going on in Europe know that. We US had troops in Ukraine before Putin invaded in Feb 2022. We pulled our trainers out after this invasion so as to not to have accidental contact with Russian military.

 

There be some special operations personnel, but there aren't any regular line units, nor should there be.
