I have a Clippers jersey coming with the personalized name "Sterling" on the back with the number 1 on it. lol

I plan to wear it at the local poker room to fire up all those uncomfortable in their sexuality..... but I play a good gay guy whenever I feel it can gain me the mental advantage at the table so a (knockoff) michael sam jersey seems to be on my to order list.... (after all, I don't actually want proceeds going to support a cause I don't really support)

while I don't blame him one bit... the fact that he is going to make more being packaged as the "gay football player" than he will at being "a football player".... the economic motive to come out of the closet he and his agent made seems pretty transparent at this point in time.

the Rams are going to be stuck with him. if he doesn't make the cut they are going to have to keep him anyways, or face the wrath of the Gay Gestapo for letting him go

except when players openly mocked Tebow.... they weren't fined for it

I agree with the Tebow hysteria.... I never liked his abilities in the NFL, and only made news for hsi beliefs....

I agree with his beliefs... but I was just as upset when Sportcenter would open the hour talking about the haircut of the 3rd string rookie during camp....

just as much as I am about a 7th rounder kissing his b/f

So homophobic bigotry is OK because someone allegedly said something years ago about Tebow's worn-on-the-sleeve over the top Christianity and wasn't sent to a re-education camp (What does that mean?)? OK

Nope not one but we are seeing it happen already with anyone speaking out against Sams

    http://twitchy.com/2014/05/12/what-...raining-following-comments-about-michael-sam/

all the Miami Dolphin player tweeted was "disgusting" in reference to Sams kissing his boyfriend
so I will ask again was any player fined, suspended, and sent to a reeducation camp for speaking out against Tebow for his religious faith?
so your comparison is laughable at best

Nope just pointing out the blatant unadulterated hypocrisy that is so common from the left

no, but hypocracy is apparent.... you want to be noble for causes you believe in, but nothing else.

besides, it's not homophobia or bigotry..... despite your though policing attempts.... there is nothing that says I have to think boys kissing is ok. Now, if I make death threats, or trying to ban him from the NFL for being gay, that's different.... but since noone is actively trying any of that.... it's not bigotry, it's differences of political opiioin

Only blacks and gays are protected groups in this country. Oh and women.

Sam's jersey will sell like hot cakes because it's the gay community's chance to make a statement. They'll buy 20 jerseys just to try and prove a point. Similar to when they strap a big dildo onto their forehead and parade through cities. The more noise you make the better.

A vocal minority is more influential than a silent majority.

The big secret though is it IS about his sexual preference. Rams had a choice, and they picked a sub par player at a position they were already set at when there were other players with better measurables. Nobody in the MSM or on ESPN will say it out loud, but its painfully obvious. He will garner media attention and when he steps on the field it will be on sports center.

I remember when Jason Collins played his first game as a Net. They showed highlights of him setting a screen and helping a player up off the court, and grabbing and rebound, because thats all he did all game. And it was the lead off story. Sam will get the same treatment. They wont show him get pancaked but if he makes a tackle it'll be the lead off story.

Where did I ever talk about government? You also seems to think laws based of religious teachings = theocracy. Well hate to break it to you, that means we are in a theocracy right now. Our laws are still largely based of the Bible, although, through your liberal re-education propaganda you probably have been convinced otherwise.
