Performing the Hajj pilgrimage is one of the five pillars of Islam, making this the highest possible reward: "The Hajj grant was provided by King Abdullah bin Abdul Aziz at the request of the Palestinian Prime Minister in Gaza, Ismail Haniyeh, following their release in the Hamas-Israel prisoner exchange deal agreed last month. The costs are being borne by the Saudi monarch."

Once again, imagine the deplorable moral and political compromises we could avoid if not for the dependence on Saudi oil. "Saudi King's private aircraft to take ex-prisoners for Hajj," from Middle East Monitor, November 4:

SA welcomes and rewards terrorists who killed dozens, in line with the Islamic rewards for killing infidels.

In a dozen years how many Israelis have been killed by Hamas rockets?

Have you ever considered Israel's part in their misery? But oh... you are German and Dutch... No skin off your nose.

This may be the smartest and kindest thing the Saudis can do for these people since they are opposed to Hamas shelling Israel..

They consider HAMAS a deterrent to peace and another excuse for the Israelis to refuse peace.

Some people are a whole lot smarter than others.

Those prisoner were freed in a deal to get a soldier back, they weren't innocented. A whole bunch of them were in jail for a good reason.

Personaly I would use that plane for some AA target practice...

Oh I know but there are another 5,000 Palestinian women and children in Israeli prisons..

You want to shoot down a Saudi plane carrying pilgrims?

Israelis really are a sad, barbaric bunch.

They are all there for the crimes they committed, you know, they had their day in independent court, they had a lawyer, they had the right of appeal and they were found guilty.

Well Hitler said the same thing about the Jews he penned up in the Warsaw ghetto. According to Hitler, they weren't people and families.. they were dangerous criminals and terrorists.

There is such a broad definition of violations in the West Bank and Gaza. They are governed by over 1,500 military regulations that you can be imprisoned for even some forms of public activity.. Supporting a hostile organization by holding a flag, or even listening to a nationalist song is considered a hostile action...

Are you saying that because Hitler tried to exterminate jews, the Palestinians in Israeli jails are all innocent? LOL Did you ever consider Logic classes instead of posting non sequiturs and logical fallacies on the Internet all day long?

There are no palestinians in Israeli jails convicted for listening to a song or holding a flag and you know that perfectly well. Illegal infiltrators, stone throwers, terrorists and their assistants etc, let alone all other kinds of criminals.

I don't see what the big deal is.

The Haj is mucho important and it is sort of the Quranic duty of Saudi Arabia to provide access, even to Gazans.

Being a Gazan doesn't make one any less a Muslim than one in America who travels for the Haj.

    Are they terrorists too?

Seriously, the Haj is one of those neutral things that it doesn't matter who does it, terrorist or not, it's required by Islam.

Hitler demonized the European Jews.. stole their property, incarcerated them, starved them and practiced collective punishment.... Then he labeled them criminals when they tried to resist and killed them.

Of course the people of Gaza are "criminals".. there are Christian and Muslim Palestinian refugees all over the world who were "Criminals"........

Then they just have to abstain from doing those things. They could instead remove Hamas and Fatah from power and really accept that they've lost the war(s). Once that is understood, I'm sure they would get their dream of a country, one that can be viable for both Israel and the pallies. Of course they must also accept to totally disarm. Their security would be garantied by Israel and their neighbor as long as they behave.

In everyday speech, a non sequitur is a statement in which the final part is totally unrelated to the first part, for example: Life is life and fun is fun, but it's all so quiet when the goldfish die.

Unlike Jews in Germany the Palestinian criminals were convicted in a court of law, they had lawyers, their day in court, their right of appeal and even Hamas does not claim they are innocent.

LOLOL.. and what court of law was that, Borat?

Their crime was to resist the theft of their land, water, rights and historical homeland. There crime was to fight back against superior forces with MORE US money and weapons.

Israel has an independent, highly regarded and respected judiciary system which has made a very large number of rulings in favor of Palestinians and/or against the Israeli government or the IDF. Your implications that they are a kangaroo court are baseless and disgusting. Israel is a democracy, it's not a banana republic like...all its neighbors including your beloved Saudia Arabian Islamic Banana Republic. :D

Israel is NO democracy.. You should know that by the legal loopholes created by Nationality versus Citizenship just for starters..

Saudi Arabia is far more stable, loyal and prosperous than Israel will ever be.. and they aren't on the dole or at war with all their neighbors.

They don't need to steal anyone else's land or water and run it thru some phony court system.
