Leftists are stupid, devoid of common sense, they have been cleansed of compassion (though they clian otherwise), and their pathetic progressive agenda supercedes even the use of a language by which people afflicted with deafness to communicate, they see a gun. How is that not utterly stupid and devoid of common sense and compassion. Have I ever mentioned that leftists suck? With this incomprehensable demonstration, that is surely obvious.

Because it is nowhere near as much adrenal pumping fun as calling people racists or making fun of dead black teens.

So how are they getting elected onto local school boards so they can drive their agendas?

The school board doesn't write the curriculum, nor does a school board have a say in what crop of students graduate with teaching degrees.

This not a curriculum issue, it is a policy issue. Who decides local school district policy? School boards

It is a culture issue, not a policy issue. There is no written policy that your sign language name can't look like a gun. It is a product of hiring former educators as principals that are ridiculous.

From a pool of liberals. Come on, most teachers are liberal. You know this, I know this. Just like most of the officer corps of the military is conservative.

Union endorsements and money. Even if they fight the union it doesn't matter, union teachers cost too much to fire because they are protected from students, parents and incompetency by the union.

    Statistics and whatnot. ;)

    http://www.insidehighered.com/news/...ssors-already-liberal-have-moved-further-left

Here are the data for the new survey and the prior survey:
    2010-11 2007-8
    Far left 12.4% 8.8%
    Liberal 50.3% 47.0%
Middle of the road 25.4% 28.4%
    Conservative 11.5% 15.2%
    Far right 0.4% 0.7%

Based on required filings with the federal government, it is estimated that between 1990 and 2002 eighty percent of the NEA's substantial political contributions went to Democratic Party candidates and ninety five percent of contributions went to Democrats in 2012. [

School teachers have always done stupid things. At church-schools with all conservative teachers, they do stupid things, just different stupid things. I don't know why. Maybe being around so many kids for so long induces a sort of brain rot in susceptible people. It does seem to be some of the older ones who get crazy.

Effective management oversight and the ability to get rid of the burnouts are always needed.

Do you think a group comprised 50/50 Republican to Democrat would allow their money to go en masse to Democrats?

Whatever...you can believe half of all teachers are Republicans if it makes you feel better and that a Republican principal would say that a "gun gesture" is bad. Do not care. Dance with unicorns, too.

    Yes, children can do that.

These are boilerplate policies for "zero tolerance" on weapons and drugs that come down from Federal and state levels and area adopted by the school boards. It's true, it's a conservative school district sticking to the letter of the law. It's why the whole system is so screwed: leftist progressives come up with totalitarian policy language and conservative progressives enforce it without any sort of discretion or critical thinking.
