Ever notice that Koko tries to speak for everyone while projecting this act onto others? His ego just will not let him realize how wrong he is on everything.

Does any rational person live there or are you by yourself?

And another no-nothing self promoter trying to control all is heard from.

Anyone agreeing with this person is suspect, and anyone he agrees with is to be questioned.

I don’t think you should use words like rationality.

Honesty is not a principle. It’s a virtue. if you believe it’s a virtue- why? You’re taking a concept and having it stand alone with no hierarchy.
You’re using rationality as a weapon against atheism but not against your own belief. Does that sound right to you.
If an atheist doesn’t lie it’s because dishonesty isn’t rational. Because all virtues are subsets of rationality. Because his belief system holds reality as a value, ethical behavior warrants being honest.
    Get it?!

It came to exist because the founding fathers believed independence is a virtue and worth fighting a tyrannical ruler. The same ruler who was head of the Church of England.
It came into existence by the will of men who decided to not “give to Caesar what was Caesars” and who decided not to “turn the other cheek”. Have I got that right?

well he is allowed his opinions. Just not the right to pretend that he knows who speaks for all atheists.

His "opinions" are presented as fact and he will broach no rebuttal. In his "opinion" if he says it, that makes it a fact. No matter how far out of reality it is.

And these same men would have at the least imprisoned you for the statements you have made here. You do know that right?

Actually, it came into existence because the people did not want to continue paying taxes to an absentee ruler. Like many feel toward Washington DC

So did Hitler, at least for Aryans.
    So did the Bolsheviks.
    Your point being...?
Depends on your operating definition of the term. If the objective is to craft a disgracefully superficial synopsis of the motivations behind the American Revolution to cast them as devoid of any connection to Christianity, you're bang on; but of course that still leaves your original preposterous assertion utterly undefended.

    :roflol:

Predictable semantic squirming DEFLECTION duly noted FTR since you could NOT refute the FACT that a Code of Ethics does NOT require a "belief system".

I’m only stating facts. Which I believe is more than you have done. I’m sorry To bust your bubble.
What original assertion did I not prove? You’re the one making the assertion I just disproved.

I don’t think people who believe in god or ghosts can consider themselves rational since to believe in myths is completely irrational.

And if you don't consider something true, then it is your problem. After all, your defense is that you don't consider them rational. Ever stop to think that perhaps you are being not rational?

And your alleged point? Without even considering any other point made? Extremely narrow bias you have there.

What you claim to be facts is so only in your perspective. Others do not consider your statements to be facts at all. Only you.
