Personally I'm not so much concerned about the virus itself but the damage that's been done to the economy. I believe we do need to open up but I think it naive to think opening up alone will be enough to counteract all the damage that the economy has taken over the last 3 months and get us ahead enough for when people get scared again when this comes back again in the fall.

Better late than never, but the hearing will be used as a political tool to benefit the RP. That is how factional politics works.
I never expect much real muckraking let alone significant reform from Republican pols. Maybe, unlike the DP House pukes, the RP 'solons' will be able to keep the facts straight and avoid election cycle slander.
    One can but hope.

A congressional subpoena is the most worthless thing ever. Seriously it’s toilet paper.

This is clearly the correct take in my opinion.

A lot of politics goes into investigations nowadays. I suppose you make a good point though

Nearly 100,000 dead and twice as many incapacitated for weeks yet

This SHOULD be the central focus of both houses - you can only make America great again if Americans are safe again

I'm sure your right but I can't help but thinking that the fact they've waited this long to do this is an indication that they aren't serious in their attempt. I do believe Biden should be seriously looked into on this and his china dealing fyi

I expect Hunter Biden to file a lawsuit to prevent any records involving him from being released...

Surely you would support that, given the Mazars and Deutschesbank lawsuits?...

I feel like I'm between both sides on the issue of what to do next. I believe that more focus should be spent looking into old folks home and just generally on ways to make high risk people as safe as possible but I think we're at the point now where we come to a truth about Americans, their health is directly tied to the economy. If we stay looked down much longer our way of life and people's health (even those who aren't at risk of getting covid) are going to be in jeopardy. I feel we do need to open up but I personally don't think opening up alone is enough to regain what we've lost. Apparently I'm alone in that thought

I've literally argued with you and other Democrats on here over lots of things, I'm not a democrat but this is horse#### imo

We're being forced to talk about Obamagate,Flynn, Trumps mourning pills etc when studies have shown american workers have lost 1.3 trillion dollars or 9k a person and somewhere around 40% of people who've filed for unemployment benefits haven't received them yet.

I know your general stances.. and salute your stance on this..

I'd investigate the Bidens all day long if there was indication of wrongdoing...

I haven't seen the indication here...

I hope Hunter does, keep his tarnished name and reputation in the news as long as possible. This guy is literally the cancer that can destroy his Father. Rightfully so, they used the VP slot to enrich his family.

Wait until the car rental company employee gets subpoenaed over the crack pipe he/they found along with his drugs.

No wrongdoing? If it were Trump you would be screaming for investigations. Are you not the same guy that said he would take Hitler's word over the President of the United States?

It was Hitler over PINO Trump (not just any POTUS) and it wasn't a blanket statement. I would have to review the statement in question and review their public history on the topic.

Hitler certainly lied about many important and terrible things (invasion of Poland as a Defensive move???), but I don't recall him being considered a prolific liar...

Nadler and Schiff should be getting ready to subpoena Beavis, Butthead and Smurfette - excuse me - Eric, Jr. and Ivanka, then...

Judge refuses to halt class-action suit accusing Trump of promoting pyramid scheme

Sauce for the goose and all that... [IMG]

PINO? Why would you even entertain to side with Hitler over any leader the US has elected? That is just disgusting. Do all Democrats side with Hitler?

How do you feel about Stalin? He killed more people than Hitler.

They already testified under oath for Mueller. The fake Russian hoax and now it's criminal investigation by Barr and his team.

The good guys are on offense. LOL

Did you support the Charlottesville protest in 2017? If so, you supported Hitler and the neo-nazis in that protest. You know, the ones that our POTUS called "very fine people."

Bill O'Reilly says millions of Americans skip mortgage payments and 8 in 10 Americans want more help and THIS is what we're talking about?
