If this was a serious matter, it could be stand alone legislation, not some cheap rider tacked on to an unrelated bill...

 

Can you give some reasoning for why the three parts of the bill were voted against?
1. Responsibility of campaigns to report attempted foreign influence
2. Election security - including back up paper ballots, mandate tech safeguards, and provide resources to states to improve their election-security measures
3. Notify law enforcement authorities in the event of a foreign power offering campaign assistance

 

Make it a capital offense for anyone who holds an elected govt position that has a greater net worth when they relinquish office compared to when they obtained office.
