Their airforce features modern american aircraft and Israel has the absolute best combat pilots in the world, bar none.

Exactly what are you on about here with these comments about Israel not being that tough? Yes do refer to the 6 day war which should have taken a month if compare the inferior tanks of the Israelis for that terrain vs the dug in Egyptian fortifications and tanks.

The 6 day war in what 1967? That utter destruction of the Egyptian tank forces and the speed at which Israel did it is heralded by many military historians and strategists as the greatest achievement martialy in modern history by any nation.
