    Exactly.

Well, you're also not Supreme Galactic Overlord and those of us don't care disagree with you and are equally allowed to say that we don't find it immature, unsportsmanlike, embarassing and inappropriate. I think if I were in her shoes I'd be jumping up and down or dancing. And I wouldn't really care about the opinion of people who couldn't spend ten minutes on the court without falling over winded.

One example that I've used before. "**********" in reference to "Tea Party" members is often censored here as "flamebait". However, it is rare that someone calling blacks "chimps", "gorillas" or "monkeys" to be censored.

There's a double standard on the part of some mods here that seems to give great leniency to the Stormfront infiltrators who are here solely to post racially charged thread after racially charged thread.

It's degenerated to the point where it's difficult to have any meaningful discussion concerning race because of the white supremacists spamming racebaiting threads that would be tossed out as flamebait anywhere else.

Thanks. I was aware of that.

I believe you would. It's a matter of maturity and class.
    Deflection.
My inability to play tennis has nothing to do with inappropriate behavior while representing the u.s. on the world stage.

I must have jumped over the chimp comment or else my eyes just deflect racism. I agree. If someone likened her to a chimp that should be called out as a violation of the forum rules.

    Great. Wasn't sure.

Uh huh. They just played a game. This isn't Shakespeare. Next up no cheering or clapping...

    No defelction at all.

But it has everything to do with why she would be concerned about your opinion as she is a tennis player and you are not.

Why didn't you quote my ENTIRE POST????? Cherry pick much?

You find racism where there is none.

You know nothing about Compton. It had nothing to do with race and for your bigoted mind's information, the predominant race in Compton is Latino.

    What an idiot post.

    Let's review my entire post.

Posters like you that pull that out of context crap are intellectually dishonest. It's embarrassing that you associate yourself with surfing.

Toddy. As you seem on a "rules" kick. I just went through and noted the number of posts that contained direct personal attacks and insults against other posters. Not issues of "flame", which would be what you have referred to, but direct clear insults.

Its about 12-1, with "progressives" (aka *******s) insulting more conservative posters, just on the direct personal attacks. When including the broader "flaming", there's still a gap where the libs flame more. Just your reference to many as "Stormfront infiltraters" is highly flaming, IMMHO.

It was deliberate, and I laughed. Hopefully she'll continue to break down those uppity walls, and attract multi-cultural talent to the sport. She's personified the American dream of rising to your abilities in an amazing format. She's an extraordinary athlete, champion, and now one of the most decorated olympians the sport has ever seen.

Why are we picking on the black girl for doing her ethnic, native, street dance at competition?

What about this dance at competition? Did you see that guys reaction? Thats Unbecoming of an athlete, not what serena did.

Exactly. Toddy apparently has an egregious double standard.

    That has already been established.
    That has already been established.
hyperbole. We're talking about the player, not the crowd...and have you noticed? tennis crowds are polite and respectful during the match?

Yes. I know. I saw that and corrected it. So?

No.you're dodging and inventing strawmen .We're talking about how one behaves when representing the u.s. on the world stage.

I had already pointed out exact words by T that I took exception to. That displayed a "double standard". Further, T ignores the insults and flaming from the left, again as I noted. Thanks for playing

Games are for what? Fun. If you can't have fun with a game or enjoy the experience, why bother?

    You seem to have forgotten.

We're talking about the event, and naturally you are quiet during the event and cheer afterwards. Or didn't you notice Prince William lifting the Duchess high in the air and scandalizing the population with a bit of her stomach showing and public PDAs?

    [/quote]

Nope, I was making two separate points.

I'd think other countries form their opinions of us based on more meaningful events.

You'd rather judge a country on their actions while involved in sport than say... war & government? Once more, I'm certain other countries form their opinions on more meaningful events.

Or actually valid, if your concern is how people conduct themselves while representing a nation... which it is. Why else would conduct enter the equation? "Embarassing in front of other nations", no? I love the sudden care for what other countries think. lol
