This guy is talking crap. Carlson is balanced, asks good questions, and is a fair moderator on his show.

The 'sources' Seth is referring to: CNN's, Wash Post, NYT, anonymous leaks from Muellers office. The guy is another "Boo Hoo" Hillary lost whiner like DeNiro. It's like - yeah right Seth, CNN has credibility. Not . CBS is terrible - just like NBC, DIsney/ABC, They are shills for Mueller and his Russia 'fixed the election' fiasco. "MacFarlane on Saturday retweeted a post from CNN’s Brian Stelter, who commented on what Tucker Carlson told his Fox News viewers. “Isn’t this sad?” Stelter asked, before directly quoting Carlson’s suggestion that viewers discount other media sources. “If you’re looking to understand what’s actually happening in this country, always assume the opposite of whatever they’re telling you on the big news stations,” Carlson said.

MacFarlane, in his quote-tweet, went off on Carlson for peddling “fringe sh-t.” He wrote, “In other words, don’t think critically, don’t consult multiple news sources, and in general, don’t use your brain. Just blindly obey Fox News. This is fringe sh-t, and it’s business like this that makes me embarrassed to work for this company.”

By Sunday morning, MacFarlane’s tweet had racked up more than 27,000 likes and nearly 2,000 comments, many of which suggested that he set up shop at a streaming service.

While it is impossible to gauge any actual threat of MacFarlane decamping Fox based on a single tweet, the message comes at a sensitive time after the company lost longtime creative engine Ryan Murphy to Netflix. Fox is also in the throes of sorting out competing bids for its studio assets from Disney and Comcast. Whoever winds up with those prizes, Fox News and the Fox broadcast network will remain together as the cornerstones of the “New Fox” corporate entity, along with the company’s leading portfolio of local TV stations.

MacFarlane’s overall deal is at 20th Century Fox TV, which will be part of the assets moving to Disney or Comcast and will no longer be a corporate sibling Fox News or the broadcast network. He will likely draw interest from other companies when the deal comes up for renewal. As Deadline reported last November, MacFarlane switched agencies, to CAA from WME, in anticipation of the 2019 expiration of his overall deal.

Comcast, Disney in multi-billion dollar bidding war for Fox assets

Comcast on Wednesday bid roughly $65 billion to buy parts of 21st Century Fox, setting off a bidding war with Disney for control of the target's studios, sports networks, cable TV networks and other premium assets. But the most prized asset of all is Fox's stake in Hulu, the video-streaming service seen as a potential rival to industry leader Netflix (NFLX).

Hulu is currently jointly controlled by Disney, Fox, and Comcast which each own a 30 percent share. Fox is planning to unload its stake along with other entertainment assets as its controlling shareholder, Rupert Murdoch, restructures the company. Both Disney and Comcast are interested in the Fox properties. Time Warner also owns a 10 percent stake in Hulu.

Comcast would also buy the 20th Century Fox studios, its regional sports networks, and the F/X and National Geographic cable-TV channels. "

In a letter addressed to Rupert Murdoch, Lachlan Murdoch and James Murdoch, who run 21st Century Fox (FOX), Comcast said its $35 a share, all-cash offer provides "superior and more certain value" compared with Disney's $52 billion all-stock bid.

Comcast (CMCSA) and Disney (DIS) are eager to build their streaming businesses to counter the rise of Netflix and the growing numbers of cord-cutters who quit cable and satellite TV. Hulu has 20 million subscribers, making it the third-largest streaming service behind Netflix and Amazon. The service reportedly lost $917 million last year even as it generated more than $1 billion in ad revenue.

I would hope so, considering they're free. approximately 25 million households do not have cable or satellite television....which is a big number...could represent as many as 70 million people...which is why ABC, CBS, NBC are not the least bit objective.
