the founders did not want another theocracy here, they built in restrictions to prevent that from EVER happening anyone that knows anything about America knows that it was Christian infighting that removed God from our schools ect... Atheists have never had the numbers to make such change possible the fear mongering from Christians about Sharia law taking over our Government could even create a stronger separation.... lets hope so .

Given the US overthrow of the democratically elected government of Iran to install the shah, the invasions and installations of governments in Iraq and Afghanistan, and ongoing drone strikes in the Mideast, I would say I like their method better. I really don't see the US political class giving in to Sharia; it is too inflexible and will stop them from doing what they want when they want. I really don't see a vanishingly small minority changing the culture of America either.
